Things get intensely personal in "Bad Optics" as John Stewart dives headfirst into the present-day mystery of the first episode murder, only for Sheriff Kerry Kane to drop a bombshell about why Hal actually returned to Rushville. With Guy Gardner stepping into the fold and the investigation blowing wide open, every piece of the puzzle is suddenly coming under scrutiny. Settle in and enjoy the watchalong as the secrets begin to unravel!

Like to be truthful this was filler like there.

I still don't think he's gone, there's two more episodes and if you know about certain comic events, the Blackest Night etc (and from Hal's eulogy) - you'll know.

I rejoined the Patreon to see if you guys were still stealing content for your full-length watchalongs to reupload behind a paywall. I mentioned this to Coy on his own channel, and he said "Patreon is always sync up with your own copy." So which is it? Is Coy lying, or is the person running the Patreon hiding the new format from Coy? I'm sure DC wouldn't want one of their own employees illegally redistributing their content. This entire thing reeks of shameless dishonesty and I don't think anyone should be supporting it.

I assume he will use the Halogram to get into whatever Hal is keeping in that storage bin. Just 2 episodes left to set the stage for future Green Lantern activity in the DCU. If the rumor is true and there will be a Lanterns movie instead of a Season 2, this could end on a cliffhanger (like Peacemaker being stranded on Salvation). Hal is definitely dead, but that never held him back in the comics :-). If they're doing Parallax, the cliffhanger into the movie would be a good way to go

The blond girl, Maggie, was the girl that he gave the watch to at the Motel after it got blasted in E5. The one who's father lost a leg and was killed. Also, he did not have a chance with that contract once the military was involved since he was dishonorably discharged.
