Is the video a few seconds off

Blkm44

Ya after the 1st edited pause moment/break in the video 1+ hour in, I started noticing the movie video is a few behind their reaction

Since Jackie is liking Vigo Mortensen in this film and she likes horses, a fun reaction for her might be Hidalgo. Vigo is on a horse again but instead of a human and pet relationship with the horse and they have more of a brotherly relationship which makes the film really fun. Plus, it’s a unique film where you get a western and a middle eastern set action adventure in the same film. Also, from the director of Captain America The First Avenger, which she loved.

are we gonna get Hobbit reactions

Curtis Rice

Fun fact: in the scene where Aragorn kicks the Orc helmet after finding the pile of burnt carcasses, Viggo Mortensen actually broke two of his toes on that kick. His scream of frustration was completely real, and Peter Jackson kept that exact take in the movie! The drink they gave Merry is called Orc draught, not sure if you caught the name, it's high potency medicine and liquor mixed, to give an aggressive energy boost to knock out pain and keep moving.

Curtis Rice

I hope. I loved them personally.

1:51:00 is where I noticed it.

Hi guys youre the best. J R R Tolien created all the languages in his books as well as the written ones. Also the songs. I know you joke about a lack of women, this is true due to Tolkien writting his books using his own experience in WW 1 and the relationships with soldiers and friends he had. Although, All the women in his stories are very powerful and not the normal quiet wall flowersa of that era. Merry intentionally routed Tree Beard south so he would see the destroyed forest. Part of Tolkiens story was an analogy of the industrial age forsaking nature and forest to fuel the machines of industry and war. Love the reactions! You guys are the best!

Sucks we gotta wait a week for the next one. It’s ok tho

John Fellios

They need to watch the They’re Taking the Hobbits to Isengard music video on YouTube. It’s hilarious

Blkm44

Hopefully. However it does seem to sync back up later on in the movie

I knew yall would warm up to Faramir as soon as he was introduced. The love and hate relationship with Smeagol/Gollum LOL

Jennifer Dixon

Yay! The Hobbit movies tend to be considered the worst of the franchise but I absolutely love them. The actor that plays Biblo is great imo.

Jennifer Dixon

Merry and Pip are my absolute favorite characters. The next movie has some amazing scenes with those two as well. Especially Pip. Don't want to spoil it... it's my fav scene in this whole trilogy!!

for anyone interested, here is Eowyns lament for Theodred translated into English: Now dear Théodred lies in darkness, most loyal of fighters. The sound of the harp shall not wake the warrior; nor shall the man hold a golden wine-cup, nor good hawk swing through the hall, nor the swift horse stamp in the courtyard. An evil death has set forth the noble warrior A song shall sing sorrowing minstrels in Meduseld that he is no more, to his lord dearest and kinsmen most beloved. and, for the real nerds, here it is in Rohirric (Old English) Nú on théostrum licgeth Théodred se léofa hæ´letha holdost. ne sceal hearpan sweg wigend weccean; ne winfæ´t gylden guma sceal healdan, ne god hafoc geond sæ´l swingan, ne se swifta mearh burhstede beatan. Bealocwealm hafað fréone frecan forth onsended giedd sculon singan gléomenn sorgiende on Meduselde thæt he ma no wære his dryhtne dyrest and maga deorost. i had always found Eowyns lament deeply moving, even before i knew what it meant.
