THE SOCIAL NETWORK??? Losing my mind right now

jamie gore

Jason Lives: My personal favorite Friday, just understands the campiness the best. What did yall think of the new zombie/undead Jason? I always thought it was cool to see how he figures out his new powers, like woah I can do that.

Hasena Ali

Jason Lives - Tommy Jarvis is considered to be one of the best final guys in horror. Do you prefer the Tommy Jarvis era of the franchise or the earlier films where each movie has a different final girl? Also any updates on if you guys are reacting to A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise? Definitely important to watch those before you get to Freddy vs Jason!

thomas dougherty

Friday the 13th 6 jason lives: Do you think the Friday the thirteenth franchise takes it too far by taking a more extreme supernatural approach to explain how Jason is still alive, or does it add something more to the character and franchise that he has become more than just a man? P.S Just wanted to thank Jackie and Paige for these wonderful reactions and for helping me find my love for this franchise again!

Kaptain Fernandez

Friday the 13th Part VI: This is one of my favorites in the series because of the self-aware humor. That James Bond inspired title sequence makes me giggle every time. Did you two appreciate the humor or did you think it was too much for a horror movie?

Kaptain Fernandez

The Social Network: This is one of my favorite movies and it’s certainly one of Fincher’s best. That being said, my God is it filled with some of the most loathsome characters imaginable. Who was more hateable? Zuck, Sean Parker, or the Winklevoss Twins?

Stephanie Bri

Jason Lives: Hi Jackie and Paige hope y'all are enjoying the rise of Zombie Jason. My question is how do you feel about the tone shift this movie took compared to the rest?

Cody Price

The Social Network: Hi John and Jackie. I love this film and it is my favorite screenwriter’s, Aaron Sorkin’s, Academy Award-winning screenplay. I also love that last line of the film, but just curious, in your own personal opinion, do you think film version of Mark Zuckerberg in just this film, is an asshole or do you think that he is just trying so hard to be?

CareBear

TBBT 4x06-10: Hi J & A ! - With how territorial Sheldon was in the pilot, could you ever have imagined him voluntarily giving over his spot (even if it didn't last)? Whether Sheldon's genuine apology, Leonard's increasing confidence or Howard's loving relationship, the gang has evolved since S1. Q?: Do you think the TBBT writers have done a good job of showing organic character growth? Any surprises?

Vincent Cole

The Social Network: Hi John and Jackie! What do you think of the portrayal of Mark Zuckerberg? I know you might not know that much about how he acts in real life (I definitely don’t), but do you think that the portrayal was accurate, or more dramatized for the purpose of the movie?

Vincent Cole

Friday The 13th Part VI: Jason Lives: Hi Jackie and Paige! This is the first of the series that doesn’t have any nudity in it. It also just doesn’t a whole “young adults go to a specific location and try to hook up” storyline. Do you like that the main goal of the movie starts off with, and continues to be, purely about stopping Jason, or do you miss how it was in the previous movies?

CareBear

Social Network: Hi Double J ! - Director David Fincher is famous/infamous for having an extremely demanding filming style. In order to get the exact timing he wanted for SN's opening scene, he made actors Jesse Eisenberg & Rooney Mara perform this 6-minute shot over 90 times. Q?: Do you think Fincher's method is a sign of a great auteur? Or are film sets the one place we seemingly allow a boss to make such insane demands?

Dan Gehen

Friday the 13th Part 6: Hey Jackie & Paige, Jason Lives is often in the discussion for best of the series (alongside Part 2 and The Final Chapter), and happens to be the only movie in the series without nudity. What did you think of Thom Matthews as Tommy, and how do you think he compares against the character as depicted in the last two movies?

Riley Petersen

Friday the 13th: The first movie where kids actually show up to the summer camp! How relieved were you that Jason didn’t kill any of the kids, especially after he walked that line with Tommy in part 4?

Junior

Ngl I’m ready to see y’all reaction of the down fall of Friday the 13th til Freddy vs Jason

Nikki Sonrisa

The Social Network: Hey Jackie and John! I hope you enjoyed the movie. I think Jesse Eisenberg did a spectacular job portraying Mark Zuckerberg. But not enough people talk about Andrew Garfield’s performance as Eduardo Saverin. I personally think he KILLED it. Question: What’s your favorite scene in the film (which scene do you think is the best acted?) I personally LOVE the acting in the "Sorry, my Prada's at the cleaners" scene from everyone involved.

Spence

Friday the 13th Part 6: Jason Lives. Hi Jackie and Paige! I’m so glad you finally at this one. This is my favorite portrayal of Jason. I love the fact that the director Tom McLoughlin wanted the kills to feel nearly supernatural. I feel this introduces us to a meaner, crueler Jason. Do you all feel the kills in Part 6 feel meaner and more vicious that in previous entries? And how do you feel about a now totally supernatural Jason?

Leon03

Jason Lives: I know yall were disappointed of the lack of blood in some of the kills on the previous movies. But it's all because the MPAA (at the time) really hated the slasher genre & they demanded cuts on the gore of horror films no matter how simplistic or minor the violence was due the "blame the violence on movies & video games " logic of the time. All these films received an X rating (nobody under 17) on their original versions & had to get toned down for a more profitable R- rating . For example, originally we were supposed to see the cop's head burt open when Jason squeezed his head & more footage of Jason folding the Sherrif instead of just a quick death. Plus blood flow from most kills was removed. The uncut deaths are available on YT on a VHS quality since the original film elements were destroyed by the studio, & the only film that received an Uncut HD release was part 1 which is why that film seemed more gory than most of the sequels. But which movie yall think got better kills & gore overall in its released version, Part 5 or Part 6? P. S. The MPAA censorship gets worse on the next sequel.

Jason Lives!! Hi Paige and Jackie !! ( or if you like Peanut and Jelly sandwich) Welcome to the Jason’s zombie era, you are in for a wild ride. I’ll give you some trivia and facts this time. The Jason Bond blood spilled was recorded in fact in practical effects, title designer Dan Curry used a real machete to slash open a black garbage bag full of milk then turned the white milk in post-production to make it look like gushing blood. And the main theme makes homage to the shining opening soundtrack

Jason lives Question 2: This movie has a plot hole which is why was Jason (a serial killer) buried instead of cremated as stated in Part 5. That would've required somebody paying for his body to get that treatment. That's because on the script there was some dialogue in the police station where Tommy asked why Jason wasn't cremated, and the sheriff responded by saying "We were gonna, but some asshole paid to give Jason and his mother a proper burial." In the original ending, it was going to get revealed that Jason's father "Elias" was the one who payed for Jason & his mom to get buried, & was probably planning to resurrect them both somehow. This was going to set up a sequel exploring his backstory. Unfortunately it was never shot, but a short recreated storyboard is available on YT with the gravedigger actor returning to dub his dialogue (his death & the couple making out in the forest was added in late reshoots to add more kills) & it offers the only glimpse of "Elias". Do y'all think this ending should've been kept & would've been interesting if Jason's father was featured in a sequel?

Leon03

Jason Lives fun facts: 1. Musician Alice Cooper recorded "He is back, the man behind the mask" (end credits music) to promote this film & made a music video featuring Jason. 2. Jason's death was partly shot on the director's parents pool which damaged their water filter with all the gore. 3. The movie was originally going to be black & white as an homage to the old Universal Horror films such as Frankenstein. 4. The director's wife is the girl who gets killed in the beginning of the film. The one offering her American Express card to Jason after he killed her boyfriend.

J&A TBBT 4X06-10 Hello from the UK! I hope you're both have a great week! My question is: If Sheldon’s Roommate Agreement was a real, legally binding document, which of his crazy rules would you actually be willing to sign up for—and what custom clause would you add to survive living with him? Thank you 😊

These are only for the day of - since that was when it was recorded so this one is far too late! Sorry! - PLD
