Oh my God I just started the show with you all and already I am instantly on Carrie's side and thoroughly Team Carrie-can-do- no-wrong. They really cast the sweetest looking actress with the saddest/sweetest voice. She's amazing. Also Samantha Sloyan was born to play Carrie's mother. I wouldn't even be surprised if Mike Flanagan decided to do this remake just because he knew she would make the perfect Margaret White. 😄

First, best trio to watch this ever! I was afraid because a Carrie series could go really wrong. That said, this is amazing. The Axtors are great and the Carrie actress is simply fantastic. I think the bullying is very realistic. The inclusion of the truama that creates a bully is very interesting. The "Shine" documentary style and power inclusions is very smart. The rocks falling from the sky is an element not usually shown from the books. This happens in Rose Red as well, another King mini series that is amazing. I found myself equely wanting to cry for Carrie, Fight for Carrie, and Hug Carrie all at once. Job well done. FYI Carries dad dies 7 months before her birth in the books and her powers are impied to come from his side of the family. You should watch Rose Red... another King story using the Shine powers. I think the case of Carrie white is refrenced in that story, I think.
