Thor The Dark World Wachalong !!

it's definitely one of the slower entries in the MCU, and the heavy exposition in the beginning drags the pacing down quite a bit. It also feels a bit disconnected from Thor's growth in the first movie, especially seeing him immediately go against his father's command after working so hard to follow his lead. Plus, Christopher Eccleston's Malekith felt really underutilized under all that makeup, and it's a shame the Warriors Three were sidelined so much when they're supposed to be such a huge part of Thor's life. Still, nice to see Sif and the crew get a little bit of screen time!

Jackie, the hammer is magick. It flys, it floats, it can wiegh more than anything, it can choose who is worthy.... it can hang on a hook lol That said, cool to keep the journey, lov u guys of course... This one is an odd one. It has all the elements of a good movie, almost. It somehow intangably, unexplainably is forgetable. Of all the movies up to End game, this is my bottom. Theres an emotional disconect. Sad, because Figa's death is quite impactful to the Thor and Loki stories. This is a one and done for me. It serves a purpose as the connective tissue to Infinity war and the stones. All fantasy, including Thor has LOTR feels... Witcher is just LOTR. Just teasing, but not. Witcher has Elric undertones as well. Keep it up

You know, I signed up for Patreon because of you two watching the MCU and I really like you but as much as I realize this movie is slower than most of the others, you're attention span was dizzying.

Definitely hard to follow this one. It contradicted a lot of what happened in the first one and Malekith was a horrible villain- bland and one dimensional. As for your Spiderman comments, at this stage in the MCU there is no Spiderman. You'll get to Tom Holland soon enough, but the Spidermen you've watched are in two different universes from the MCU. Marvel sold their Spiderman rights to Sony before the MCU was conceived and didn't have them back in time for him to be in the MCU to start off.

It's not hard at all, as long as Loki is in it. After he's out of the picture, the movie gets a bit boring. But it's still better than Captain Marvel, Iron Man 3, and Love and Thunder. What do you mean that it contradicted a lot of what happened in the first one?

What is the point of these two being reactors? They would much rather just have nonsensical long discussions over dialogue throughout the film. Then they would ask silly questions like "Does Loki know about his mums death" even though we had a scene during her funeral that showed Loki being told about it. They were too busy talking nonsense though so they missed it. Is it any surprise that they struggled to follow the film. Jackie seems determined to spoil future things that she knows about by telling Paige about the Loki TV show instead of just being quiet and allowing her to appreciate what was an impactful Loki death scene. The attention spans of these 2 are painfully low. How hard is to remember that the Aether is in Jane and how do you forget watching films that you watched a week ago.

Stephanie, in the first one Odin was more level headed and Thor was a hothead aching for war. Here they reversed. Even before Frigga died, Odin was cold, callous and the basic opposite of how he was in Thor. Thor's new attitude I can see as growth, but Odin seemed out of character.

I like them but why so much talking during so much of the film’s dialogue? They missed a few things because they were talking about themselves instead of the film
