THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN (2012) - COMMENTARY (Patreon)

Andrew Garfield swings in with raw, teenage angst, snappy web-slinging, and unmatched chemistry with Emma Stone’s Gwen Stacy. Watching Peter uncover the truth behind his parents’ disappearance while going toe-to-toe with the Lizard makes this reboot such a fresh, grounded spin on the wall-crawler’s origins. It’s hard to beat that iconic bridge rescue and the pure emotional weight of Captain Stacy’s final stand.
