Halloween 2007 question 1. I just recently found out that yall watched the wrong cut for Halloween 6, which i assumed left y'all completely confused & baffled. So sorry for that mix up. This film however was not as a heavily re-edited as previous Dimension Films Halloweens. The Director's Cut just has a few extra scenes which flesh out some character motivations but also a completely different escape sequence from Michael. In it, two guards take another female patient to Michael's room (idk why honestly) & do the unthinkable to her. They start grabbing Michael's masks which makes him angry & he kills them both before grabbing the keys. As y'all can guess, the Theatrical Cut removes some of the more "Rob Zombie" material to make the film more mainstream. Do y'all think Rob Zombie's approach works for Halloween in its final version?

Halloween 2007 question 2: This film both tries to make a more "realistic" version of Michael while keeping his super strength abilities somehow. It doesn't for a occult or scientific explanation for Michael neither gives him the simple "pure evil" reasoning. Instead he is given the very typical approach to real life serial killers. A good contrast would be the lovely family dynamic (except for Michael) on the deleted alternate opening of Resurrection to the "trailer trash" family of Remake. Its implied in the film tho that maybe things in the family were fine at first but whenever the real father of the Myers died, Micheal's mom struggled as a recently single mom, worked at the club, met Ronnie, and then whole family dynamic went to shambles. Which is why Judith & Michael started going the wrong path in life. What do y'all think of this approach & origin story to the Myers family, how would've yall change things?

Halloween 2007: This is honestly one of my favourites of the franchise, but Rob Zombie has a very distinct style and flavor, and I honestly respect it if his style just doesn’t work for you. I am very curious if his style works for y’all, and I’m curious if y’all agree with what his style is usually called “white trash horror”, I don’t necessarily agree with that name though. But my last thing is I’m curious do yall like how brutal it is, or do yall like the way Michael was in the previous movies.

Halloween 2007 question 3: The development for a Remake began after many sequel pitches after Halloween Resurrection went rock bottom due the extreme negative reception of it by fans. In 2003, the franchise received its first ever fan convention in Pasadena Cali. It was a huge event with many celebrities & industry officials attending to greet fans for the 25th anniversary of the original film. It even has its own official DVD dedicated to it. This is when the many comics started flourishing & the proposal for a prequel exploring Michael's stay at the Smith Grove Sanitarium during his 15 years commitment was offered. It eventually evolved to a full on Remake but it was still contractually obliged to have the origin aspect in it somehow by the studio. Also the sibling thing from the original H2 is kept as Laurie is still Michael's sister from the get go. Do y'all think a Remake was the right decision to continue the franchise at the time or should've there been another sequel or adaptation from the comics still set on the H20 timeline?

Halloween 2007 Trivia 1: The next sequel is another Halloween 6 case where depending on the version yall see will give y'all a completely different viewing experience. The Theatrical Cut runs at 105 mins & its probably the preferred version for a first time watch as the Director's Cut (at exactly 2 hours) deals heavily with PTSD trauma & has a way darker & surrealist approach to how Laurie (& townspeople) continues her life after this film. The now iconic Dead Meat channel has videos called "Cut Comparison" where he compares the Theatrical Cut of Halloween 6 & both Remakes, with their original intended version. Considering the little mishap that happened with the Halloween 6 watch, is there any way y'all can check them out on both's free time to see just how different the movie was from what y'all ended up seeing? For example the " Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers (1995) CUT COMPARISON". https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=DJ19bXJcjgI The videos don't go too in depth on all the missing plot points but at least give an idea of what the Patreon questions were referring to. But to really understand it all, y'all would have to watch those films again out of the channel lol.

Hunger Games: Let’s see if you guys get the name right 😜 just kidding what do you think your weapon of choice and survival strategy would be in this arena?

Hunger Games: This came out during the teen drama book adaptation era, I’m curious what are some y’all’s favorite. The Hunger Games franchise is probably my favorite, but I do have a soft spot for the Maze Runner movies, and even though I didn’t watch them til many years later I like some of the Twilight movies.

Halloween 2007 Trivia 2: This film features the return of Danielle Harris in the franchise after her absence since Halloween 5: The Revenge. It's now funny that she is technically playing her previous character mom's friend (Laurie) in this timeline (she was Laurie's daughter in H4 & H5). I think it would've been cool if she played Laurie's daughter in the 2018 timeline as it would've brought everything full circle. However considering she was a little girl (aged 12 playing a 8 year old) in 1989, & then she was 30 in 2007 (playing a 16/17 old i think?), is it kinda weird seeing her play a very different character out of sudden with some heavy adult material?

AWESOMEJoe Movie Reviews

I enjoyed this origin of Michael Myers, I think though this movie is extremely dark and the movie starts off very uncomfortable with all the verbal, psychological abuse which drove Michael toward the direction of growing up into the shape of evil. Do you agree? Also what did you think of the character Annie being casted by returning Danielle Harris (Jamie "H4-5")? Thanks guys, keep on living the dream and as always STAY AWESOME 😎👍 👍

THE HUNGER GAMES Jackie & Paige Hi Jackie & Paige. I hope you both enjoyed the Hunger Games and are excited to watch the next film! My question is, before the tributes even step into the arena, they have to showcase a skill privately to the Gamemakers to receive their training score. If the Reel Rejects crew were reaped and had to impress the Gamemakers with one specific, random real-life skill you possess, what would your demonstration be, and what score do you think you'd realistically get?

Production question: I assume the reason we haven't gotten the JJK and Demon Slayer reactions yet is cause you're monitoring the land with all those anime reaction channels getting copyright stricken and all, but do we have an ETA on when this may come out or is there maybe a plan to make them website exclusives?

Halloween 2007: Take out the first hour or so of this movie, and give us more of what we get when Michael gets back to Haddenfield and its way better. Showing Michael's origins in this way, just never made sense to me. It just doesn't fit Michael at all. Considering the original is more suburban, and seems like a normal childhood. Sorry my question is do you think we should ever get Michael's origin or keep it that he's just pure evil? Fun fact sort of: John Carpenter hates this movie, and constantly bashes Rob Zombie for it.

Halloween: This was the Michael Myers I grew up on, I have never seen the other ones until yalls reaction 💜 I know you guys weren't really a fan of Michael and Laurie being siblings in Halloween 2, but how did yall feel about this sibling plot? I think it makes more sense then just randomly going after a babysitter idk. Love ya

The hunger games: Im gonna ask a very twilight question, Are you team peeta or team gale? 😂

JJK 1x20 Gojo rolling up and putting everyone to shame is the hi-light of this whole season for me. The fulfilling part of any classic shonen anime is getting to follow the journey of the students improving their skills and becoming stronger. However it’s so cool when the sensei characters pull up and just dominate everyone. Which part of this show have you guys enjoyed more so far the growth of the younger protagonists or characters who’ve already mastered their powers showing off?

Halloween 07 - Hey Jackie and Jon, seems like the further away we get from 1978, the more Carpenter gets proven right that the first movie should've remained a standalone story. Here we have another attempt to explain Michael. Which works better for you - Celtic legends or textbook serial killer upbringing?

Jay Rushton

THE GAMES (Jackie & Paige) - Question which of strategy would you do to win get in group, try rack up kills to get advantage, or stay out sight and let environment do you work there. This movie reminds me a lot of game called Fortnite where camping in bush with rifle get you the win there.

We do have the Sister Anime Channel - where Castlevania is showing. I would assume that they will land there. - PLD
