Dr. Strange ITMOM: Hello Coy & Greg! Overall, I liked this movie, but the ending really annoyed me. I hate that they killed Wanda. To me, it doesn't actually resolve her character arc. Its similar to Darth Vader. Do a bunch of horrible things, then one good thing at the end and all of a sudden you're a good person again. Do you have any opinions on the "Death is Redemption" trope?

Anthony Hudak

Jason X: Hey guys! This entry has gained a reputation for being pure schlock with some absolutely loving and hating it for that exact same reason. Before settling on space, the creatives had other ideas on where to put Jason. There were ideas for him being in the Congo, Antarctica, LA, back to NY, and even at NASCAR. What environment would you like to see Jason in that you haven't already?

(Dr strange MOM) Hi gents, love it or hate it tbis movie has some pretty cool visuals, does it get worse on rewatch sadly I think so but still had fun, still can’t get over how the butchered wanda, it’s a cool idea in concept but I don’t like how it was portrayed, do you boys think the same?

Nedac

Doctor Strange MoM: Hello again GregORY! I will forever stand by the fact that Elizabeth Olsen deserved to be nominated for an award for her performance in this movie. Did it make sense for her to be a villain? No. Was the movie incredible? Probably not. But I think she gave us one of the best acting performances in the whole MCU with what she was given. Curious if you agree? Much love from the great PNW!

Jason X ( Friday the Thirteenth Part 10) - Hello Jackie and Paige, this might sound crazy, but Jason X is in my top 3 for this franchise. I know it's not a " good movie", but you have to admit that they took some big swings and it's a fun watch. What was your favorite Death scene, and where else would you want Jason to visit next?

Comrade Brad

Multiverse of Madness: Both MoM and Quantumania are in my personal top 10, but tend to be less loved by MCU fans at large. A lot of that seems to come from people feeling like marketing/trailers promised different movies than what they got. Should the expectations from marketing of comic book movies really affect viewers' enjoyment of the films to such a degree, or should fans perhaps judge by the story the filmmakers set out to tell rather than whatever the studio is trying to sell with its Phases, Sagas, and planned villains?

Dewi

Multiverse of Madness: Hi guys, this was by far the most frustrating Marvel movie I’ve watched primarily because of how much potential it had. And I can’t stress enough how much more money this movie would’ve made if it was a good movie. My question is what do you think was the biggest missed potential in this movie.

Dr Strange ITMOM: hi rejects! gotta say it's been really fun doing the doomsday rewatch with you both and reliving the highs (and lows) of the mcu. i personally don't enjoy how much more violent/slightly gory this one is in comparison to the rest, made it a bit of a hard watch for me and felt a little like forcing us to see wanda as the villain. do y'all agree, or did you enjoy the "flair" sam raimi brought? much love!

Dan Gehen

Jason X: Hey Paige and Jackie - I really like this movie. It's dumb as hell and knows what it is. Which movie better utilized the sleeping bag kill - this or Part VII (New Blood)?

victoria

does anyone know how to access the demon slayer reactions?? i’m not seeing it on their website

jamie gore

Jason X: This is a perfect turn your brain off, popcorn fun type of a movie. With arguably the best kill in the franchise, FACE SMASH! My question is did this big of swing (being in space) work for you or was it too much?

jamie gore

Jason X: I have to apologize regarding the undead Jason vs Pennywise debate. I've only seen a few episodes of the TV series, so I don't know the full power from that extent. With that being said looking at movie versions, I think undead Jason wins because Pennywise gains power through fear, and undead Jason doesn't fear, hes just a killing machine.

Stephanie Bri

Jason X Hi Jackie Hi Paige now that you've seen lol the best and the worst of the franchise do you think that going to space was a desperate attempt to keep the franchise alive or did this actually give it something new and fresh that you hadn't seen before they're clearly not at the lake lol

Stephanie Bri

Jason X trivia: so the elderly man Dr scientist guy at the start of the movie that Jason kills is actually a very famous director his name is David cronenberg and he asked to be in the movie because he wanted Jason to kill him. He's very famous for making body horror movies.

Stephanie Bri

Jason X: second question if there's time: Jackie Paige this movie had some interesting kills looking back on the franchise as a whole up to this point what would you say your top three favorite kills and are any of them in this movie? lol

Malik Currie

MoM — I personally think this movie would receive a bit less criticism if it wasn’t named “Multiverse of Madness,” considering we really only spent time in 2 universes. The Wanda of it all would still be a glaring inconsistency if you saw WandaVision though

Maurice Gray Jr

Dr Strange/Multiverse Of Madness. I don't know why people say it made no sense for Wanda to become a villain. She enslaved a whole town to suit her needs and that was BEFORE she got the Darkhold. Did they not see her reading it at the end of Wandavision? The Darkhold CORRUPTS. And no I don't believe for a minute Wanda died. I saw a red flash as the mountain collapsed- that had to be her protecting herself or 'teleporting out. My question: is America Chavez too overpowered or will we see her in the MCU going forward?

Jaden Rhodes

Doctor Strange 2: If the MCU were to have co worker movies, where it’s a really bad movie but your co worker loves it, this movie and Thor love and thunder would be those movies. Have yall ran into situations like that with a movie before, i guess if me and Coy were to talk he be very surprised to learn that I think Spider-Man 3 is not only one of the best Spider-Man movies, but its better than most of the MCU and it would fall in that top 5 to 10 category for me.

Jaden Rhodes

Jason X: Y’all have officially made it to the Jason is in space movie, where they have ran out of ideas, that they decided to go to space, but I actually think somehow they made it work with how dumb and cheesy this movie is. I’m curious if it worked for yall, or do you think this just jumped the shark over the moon. Also the kill with liquid nitrogen my personal favorite of the entire franchise, and one of my favorite kills in all of slasher movies.

Jason X - Trivia This movie was essentially thrown together because of the huge delay in getting 'Freddy vs. Jason' made. As indicated by the ending of 'Jason Goes to Hell,' the plan was for New Line Cinema to get that movie out shortly afterwards in the mid 90s. But the movie languished in development hell for almost a decade, resulting in the creation of 'Jason X' as an effort to keep Jason alive in the public consciousness leading up to the crossover. Ironically, the movie was filmed in the spring of 2000 but then sat on a shelf for almost two years before getting a release; the New Line executive who had supported its production resigned and the studio no longer had any faith in the film. When it finally opened in late April of 2002, it became the lowest-grossing and least-attended movie in the series' history, selling an estimated 2.3 million tickets in the US & Canada - even the previous low point, 'Jason Takes a Leisurely Cruise,' managed 3.6 million. Amusingly, the trailer for 'Halloween: Resurrection' debuted in front of showings of 'Jason X,' offering a direct connection between what are arguably each series' silliest entries. They'd make for an interesting double feature!

Hey Paige & Jackie! Is blasting Jason into the 25th century a sign of complete creative desperation, or is it secretly a masterpiece of pure, unhinged garage band filmmaking? Trivia: New Line Cinema actually finished Jason X back in 2000, but a major corporate shakeup caused them to shelf it for two full years, which led to it leaking online long before it finally hit theaters.
