Hey guys. Obviously Harrison Ford's Deckard is the central star here, but I would argue Rutger Hauer as Roy Batty is the best part of this movie. What are your thoughts on his character and his "Tears in Rain" monologue? Also, if you want to see Rutger Hauer in another fantastic role, I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend The Hitcher from 1986!

Blade Runner: This is the least original question imaginable when it comes to this movie but it must be asked. Deckard-Human or secretly a replicant?

Cody Price

Blade Runner: Hi John and Jackie. I love the mixture of the two genres of sci-fi and film-noir in this film, but in theatrical version I felt that it leaned too much into the sci-fi genre, but in Blade Runner the Final Cut they found the right balance. Do you feel they found the right balance of the two genres in the theatrical version or do you think they should have just leaned a little bit more into film-noir genre?

Agreed on The Hitcher! Just watched that again recently! - PLD

Anthony Hudak

Absolutely! I would just make sure you can get a blu-ray/4K version since most streaming versions aren't the best quality and it doesn't do the film justice

Blade runner: Hey guys, here's a little trivia- There is 7 cuts of this movie. Final cut is preferred by most considering it gave Ridley his full vision. Final cut and directors cut both changed the ending to more open ending which most prefer. The 7 cuts are: Workprint San Diego sneak preview US Theatrical version International/European cut US Broadcast CBS cut Directors cut Final cut

I honestly think this might be the best use of rain in a movie ever, what were yalls thoughts on the use of rain in this movie, and how much it added to esthetic, and world building?

Hey Jackie and John - do you prefer "hard sci fi" like this or something more fantastical like Star Wars?

Diiirk706

Better be The Final Cut.......................
