Just a heads up there were some audio issues with this one but for the most part nothing was missed except for a few comments you might have made during the reaction. As this was written as the finale season the writers included thanos attacking because infinity war was in theaters and it seem like a great way to add motivation to talbot. It gives context as to when this takes place. It is between the attack on new york and the battle in wakanda but before the snap. Who can blame him for wanting to stop thanos after what he does. He wants to power himself up to fight thanos and he is willing to do anything to do it because he believes he is going to save people. I wish the movies acknowledge this show as well but i have made peace with it and i personally consider it canon as it gives us great world building. Like seriously is it not cool that the confederacy shoutout thanos. Now imagine watching this episode before seeing infinity war. Remember gravitonum already made others unstable and talbot mind was already pretty bad so i do not see it as his normal self being corrupted. He has voices in his head and brain damage and it is just tragic that he was corrupted.

Loving your feedback as always, my dude!!! REALLY SORRY about the audio issues here - doing my best to get to the root of how/why that happened, but in the meantime, working to get a fresh upload of this going ASAP!

Graviton is a powerful Omega-level villain that is underutilized in the comics. He is usually an Avengers-level threat. Dr Franklin Hall is Graviton in the comics. But since his actor doesn't look imposing at all, I can see why they went with Talbot. Talbot has that presence. His costume has the red dots on it, which is something he has on most of his costumes in the comics. I like how they portrayed Talbot going to the dark side. He is still sort of himself but he has suffered mental damage. Between the bullet to the head and the Hydra brainwashing, Qavos and Hale are trying to manipulate him to turn on Coulson. Also, two major voices in his head, Quinn and Hall, hate Coulson. If you ever have time, there is a great Marvel animated show called Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes (currently on Disney+). In the early episodes, Graviton is the first main villain that the Avengers face. If you're still on a Loki high, Kang the Conqueror is another major villain in the show. The show simplifies him but he's still an effective villain.
