This one was SUCH a long time coming & did not disappoint!!  Wesley Snipes is absolutely badass and the movie has that right blend of gothic vibes & '90s cheese.  Now if we could just get a multiverse Wesley in the MCU!!  😫

The club scene at the beginning has always stuck with me lol. What a way to introduce a character 👌

"Bew beh badeh beh boom buddah buddah! Bew beh badeh beh boom buddah buddah! Bew beh badeh beh boom buddah buddah!" *Traci Lords Blood Club Scene still influential today, and for many action movie "club scenes" since Blade. Snipes in his prime action form, Dorff a perfect L.A. Vamp villian wanting to move up ranks, cool style a year before The Matrix hit cinemas, fun watchalong John & Roxy! Blade rules...and Guillermo delToros excellent, gory creature feature sequel Blade II kicks bloody booty as well :)

This was a fun trip to the 90's! Wish Marvel would bring this energy back to their films

Blade 1 and 2 are some of my favorite comic book AND vampire movies. 2 is my favorite so i cant wait for you guys to watch it. 3 i dont like as much although its not as bad as i remember. Sort of like how spiderman 3 isnt as bad when you go back and watch it. Ryan reynolds is actually part of the reason i didnt like it because i dont think his comedy fit the tone of the blade movies. Also Underworld, Interview with a vampire, and Vanhelsing are some really good picks for vampire/werewolf movies.

Hey John when you said he looks familiar at the end Im curious did you watch Gotham? Quinn is the same guy who played Bullock in the Gotham series about Jim Gordan and young bruce.

Please do Blade 2!!! Its argued to be better then the first and i go back and forth and it also has Donny Yen in it too who is Ip man!!!
