One Piece 1x8 WATCHALONG

These watch alongs were a fun ride, really looking forward to doing it with further seasons. Listening to people who have not only never watched One Piece, but knew nothing about it provided a nice buffer to actually judge the show on its own merits.

I'm a bit behind in the season, but loving what I see so far, and hearing the very good praise it gets, it gives me hope for the Avatar: The Last Airbender adaptation!

The Tomorrow Studios have confirmed that the scripts for the second season are ready and that it would take around a year and a half for production, but yeah, with the strikes thing, Netflix can't confirm if there will be a second season just yet... But given the success I don't doubt there will be more, and like you said I'm sure the effects will be even better and I can't wait! Really glad you guys enjoyed it!

So Netflix did just announce the second season! So excited to see them bring more of the world and characters to life. Glad ya'll enjoyed the journey, it's only gonna get more wild

As a fan of One Piece, it was weird to see a perspective that thought garp was a bad guy throughout the season

we saw a whole repitour of luffys moves, gum gum gatling, battle axe, and rocket all staple moves

I thought the same. But I think it’s because of how the actor played him. I still was like “dang, they’re really holding on to this ‘I think he’s a bad guy’ stance” lol.

I mean relative to pirates he is bad guy. One Piece shows pirates from the good side therefore he is part of the bad side.

Nami's new tattoo is actually the symbol for berry. So basically it is one big $ symbol.
