Yayyyy!!! Thank you! So excited to watch it with you guys 🫶🏼🫶🏼

Correction: Schwartzman's character is NOT a young Stanley Tucci. His name is Lucky Flickerman and he's an unspecified predecessor of Stanley's character (may be his dad or uncle). You missed him introducing himself as Lucky Flickerman when Tucci's character was Cesar Flickerman.

One of my fav movies of 2023

Rachel actually sang live for every performance in the movie!!

Heather Geer

I actually feel like the person I most made connection with was Tigris! She was great 👌

Also in the book its from his perspective which is why we don't spend that much with Lucy or really know her intentions. We're just as much in the dark as he is.

This definitely could have been probably another hour long. The book (I think I've read it 3 times so far) is 517 pages so there's of course more to the story than you see in the movie. But with the whole book being from Corio's point of view, it leaves us all in the dark about Lucy Gray's motivations so we can only speculate. And yes, all of the songs were originals that Suzanne wrote that were included in the book (that Rachel sang live on set), except for "Lucy Gray" which is an actual poem from 1799 that the character is named after. :)
