Taking it WAY BACK with these film images from 2007 by photographer Aaron Hawks. It was nearing the end of winter in NYC, and the air was cold and crisp. The light drizzle that initially felt inconsequential slowly progressed to unbearable. When the last shot was taken, I remember laying in that puddle for more than 20 min with my teeth chattering, trying to keep rain drops from getting in my eyes, but I wanted to get the shot. I loved Aaron's work, and this was our first time working together. By the time we wrapped up, I was frozen and couldn't move, so Aaron picked me up and carried me to the nearest shower where I slowly acclimated to warm water. And so these shots were born!
