Field Of Light (Patreon)

This was my second time shooting with Mark Velasquez . The first time we shot, we were racing the light and shot everything at sunset or by firelight. Even with such a limited light source, the results were beautiful. I knew  I wanted to collaborate again. Last month, I drove down to San Francisco to perform with Hubba Hubba Revue (burlesque), and decided to take the extra trip down to Mark in Santa Maria. Super good choice. Am I right? We drove out to sand dunes with a golden knit dress I'd been dying to shoot and a vintage cream silk slip that continues to be one of my absolute favorite vintage pieces. The sun glistened and bounced off miles of almost powder like sand crystals. Blinding lol, but absolutely gorgeous. We set up to shoot, and the rest was cake.
