Sicilian Sunrise (Patreon)

Henry Vance and I were in Sicily for two whole weeks this past summer! We spent one night in Taormina on the beach (and I mean right on the beach!) in this beautiful and unique room with a terrace view of the water. You could even see long stretches of historic buildings and winding cobblestone roads. I actually have a gallery from a few months ago titled "Taormina" that really features the view (available to anyone pledging $10+). It was like something out of a storybook. 

We were still experiencing crazy amounts of jetlag and woke up just as the sun was rising. We watched it for a bit, and it was beautiful. Instead of going back to sleep, we decided to capture the moment. I didn't put on makeup or fancy clothes; I woke up like this and basked in the Sicilian Sunrise.
