Welcome to Young Avengers Month (Patreon)

Welcome all to April and the start of a very special month for my Patreon, for we are celebrating the Young Avengers turning 21 this month.

Back in April 2005 Marvel unleashed Young Avengers #1 by Allan Heinberg and Jim Cheung, a brand new series focusing on the (not) sidekicks / legacies of various Marvel heroes, poking some lighthearted fun at younger superheroes while also trying to seriously introduce a range of fresh blood into Marvel comics, characters such as Hulkling, Wiccan, Speed, Patriot, and more.

In a way it was the catalyst to my wider love of gay art, as I discovered the amazing Cris-Art through her romantic artworksof Billy and Teddy and that led to me further explore more fan art and other works over time, being the spark to the roaring flame that burns bright to this day.

It was one of the first Marvel comics I found myself having a deeply vested interest in and remains today a firm favourite of mine. For that reason, as the series turns 21 this month, I am going to celebrate with a range of pieces showing the men of the YA having a lot of naughty fun together. <3

So sit back, and enjoy.
