Dive In series update - what happens next? (Patreon)

Hey all,

With my new Dive In collection now published on Amazon I thought I'd give you all a little 'Q&A' style update to inform you of what is happening with the future of the series. So without further ado, here it is:

What's happening with Dive In?

Dive In will continue. What I've realised over the last several months is my desire to continue to build this new world I've been creating; to go further in-depth into both the boys' personalities and their particular interactions. Sadl,y due to time constraints and other projects, I didn't have the chance to make this a reality at this point in time so I decided to publish a smaller collection to commemorate the start of the 2021 Olympic Games and make the creation of the full project, which I have termed 'The Definitive Collection', a longer-term goal to steady work upon.

What's happened to the published Dive In stories on Patreon?

Unfortunately due to Amazon Kindle's terms and conditions on their Unlimited Program I am not allowed to have the story published anywhere else in a digital format. Therefore, in order to comply with these T&Cs, I have had to take down the stories for now from Patreon. It is only for now though, for I can leave the Kindle Unlimited program in the future and once I have done so I will be able to share these stories back on Patreon again.

Also do note that this doesn't affect new Dive In stories that aren't part of the collection, so I am free to release on Patreon when they are finished. It also doesn't affect the beautiful artwork of the boys, so those pieces will continue to be available, along with any other artwork I have done in the future.

What's in the new 'Dive In' collection?

The existing stories in the series that were published before July 2021 are in the collection, so it comprises 'Summer's Heat'; 'Nighttime Relief'; 'Fling in the Stalls'; 'Bussing it Home'; 'A Night in the Manor'; and 'Rest and Relaxation'.

So what's the future for Dive In?

I will be returning to the series later on this year to continue writing the stories I have planned. In fact I already have several stories in rough draft and a number of partially written tales within my folders. It's just a case of having the time to invest in bringing these stories to life.

My eventual plan is to gather all of these stories together and publish Dive In, the Definitive Collection. This won't be for some time unfortunately, for the reasons I've mentioned before. However, it is my intent to get back to working on this series as soon as I can. I also have plans for more artwork of the boys in the future...after all some of them still need their own character artwork done and I have a growing desire to see the best moments from the series illustrated, in all their wonderful detail...;)
