Magnus Reviews...Royal Meeting #1 by Phausto (Patreon)

When I was a young boy I loved watching Saturday morning cartoons and animated films and was particularly captivated by the male heroes. Charmed by their words and deeds, I felt drawn to them in a way I couldn't quite understand as a kid. Nowadays hindsight has allowed me to see just how strong my boyhood crushes were and I can fully appreciate these heroes as the men they are. Phausto it seems has a similar interest to mine and has been using his considerable talents to create comics that feel like all our desires about these characters coming true.
Royal Meeting was one of Phausto's first efforts in creating a comic and shows a 'personal' meeting taking place between Prince Eric and his father-in-law King Triton, with the two of them cementing positive relationships between their kingdoms in the best, most intimate fashion possible.
It is a short comic of only seven pages but each page and panel is used to maximum effect, showing Eric getting well and truly rammed during the course of the story. All the old innocent boyhood attraction I felt for Eric comes flooding back when I read this comic, although with a more mature bend and an appreciation for seeing him getting properly used by Triton. Beforehand I honestly didn't give much thought to King Triton in the same light as I did for Eric but my first reading of Royal Meeting swayed my opinion and shown me just how much of a mature daddy figure he is. Seeing Triton and Eric in action has convinced me what a hot pairing they are and I would love to see more of their "meetings" in future comics/artwork.
Royal Meeting serves as a straight forward, no holds barred plunge into Phausto's world of lusty Disney princes and hunky daddy figures. There is a minimal amount of narrative build up and detail within the comic but it serves it's purpose in showing us a truly passionate encounter between Eric and Triton. The further development of this world Phausto has created can take place in later comics and there is such a large diversity of Disney properties that he will would be in little danger of running out of characters and ideas to draw upon for future sexual adventures and story lines. It appears that Phausto is now exploring such development in his new series, Royal Call, although it remains to be seen if the two series are linked in the same setting or are separate works altogether.
Comparing the artwork of Royal Meeting to Phausto's most recent comic series like Royal Call, Batboys and Superboy really shows you how far the artist has come in his craft in the years since. The line work here is simpler, with less detail and a focus on the use of bolder colours. Eric and Triton's facial expressions are done well however and convey precisely the emotions both characters are experiencing at the time and the sex they have is certainly not boring, far from it.
Royal Meeting then is by no means a lesser creation due to it's status as one of the first Phausto comics but stands as an equal along Phausto's other works, being a fine example of just what his art and imagination can bring. Certainly I won't be viewing King Triton in the same light again after this...and that is only a good thing.
Passing thoughts:
King Triton's manhood is massive and jaw-dropping; comments in the later 'Royal Meeting' comics indict he is bigger then even Adam (the Beast) from Beauty and the Beast (perhaps he will make his own appearance in a future comic? Here's hoping!)
Eric seems an old pro at taking a big dick and his facial expressions during sex are just golden. Speaking of which I'd be interested in seeing just how this monthly 'meeting' between Triton and Eric came to be; maybe a short prequel of the seduction of Triton/Eric by the other is in order...;)
I wonder what Ariel makes of all of this?
Any chance of Merman Triton and Eric getting it on as well?
Speaking of which I won't say no if Eric decided to...entertain some of Triton's soldiers as well
I won't say no if Phausto decided to expand his concept of a homoerotic-centric Disney universe out further and include other characters. Kristoff, Tarzan, Charming, Hercules...I'd love to see them plowing/get rammed and to see just how Phausto would get them involved in his comics (and it seems he is making my dreams come true now in Royal Call)
