Magnus Reviews...Royal Meeting #2 by Phausto (Patreon)

Royal Meeting #2 is the second issue in Phausto's Disney themed erotic comics and is a welcome return to the setting the artist established in the first outing. In volume 1 we saw Prince Eric engaging in some very intense sexual diplomacy with his father-in-law King Triton, an unconventional yet most efficient means to build lasting relations between their two kingdoms. Now in Royal Meeting #2 we see Eric bringing along a curious Gaston (from Beauty and the Beast) to take part in the latest meeting, adding his own macho seductive charm to their 'discussions'.

Something quite noticeable right away is the difference in the level of detail and complexity of the art style between the first and second volumes and demonstrates how Phausto has refined his technique in the intervening period between the publication of both comics. This is not to cast Royal Meeting #1 in a lesser light, for both styles have their merits. It is interesting though to witness such an example of how an artist like Phausto has developed his skills over time. The use of bold, striking colours within his Disney-inspired comics have fast become a distinctive aspect of his art and carried over into his later works (such as Batboys, Avengers and Parental Instincts) although there is a definite 'cartoon-ier' vibe to the Royal Meeting series compared to the other mentioned works.

To the substance of the comic though; the interactions between the characters and their sex scenes. With over four times the number of pages compared to the first volume Royal Meeting #2 has a lot more room to give the men the chance to flesh out their personalities and relationships with each other in Phausto's take on the Disney-verse. Highlights include Eric and Gaston's flirtatious banter and Triton displaying a bit of jealously for a moment when he arrives and believes that Eric is fooling around with Gaston in his place. Later on seeing Eric's own envy as Triton and Gaston get thoroughly acquainted and how he feels a tad left out is a good twist in itself, as is how Eric decides to get back on in the action.

Speaking of which Gaston being a hungry power bottom is a surprise but then in hindsight why should it be? The most manly of men after all should be able to enjoy being in the receiving position and it does fit Gaston's boastful personality of just how good he is at, well, everything. 'Nobody takes a big cock like Gaston' is a wonderfully cheesy line and matches perfectly with the action that is taking place.

Perhaps more unexpected is how Triton becomes the focus for a bit of penetration later in the cock and, trying to spoil as little as possible, not just from one cock it should be added...it's an unexpected delight to see the King of the Sea loving a bit of double penetration. It does make me curious to see what he would be like as the receiving partner to other Disney men, such as Hercules and Tarzan to name a couple among many other possibilities.

As a visualisation of our fantasies Royal Meeting #2 more than meets expectations and gives us plenty of sensual erotic artwork that we can enjoy time and time again (just like the original movie that inspired this comic). The homoerotic bend to the established Disney canon is intriguing to say the least and with it's hints towards other beloved characters I hope Phausto will continue to explore more of the Men of Disney in future volumes (of which seems to be the case with his spiritual successor to this series, Royal Call, currently been published).

Passing thoughts

Triton's merman dick in the drawings at the end of the comic has a certain appeal to it...perhaps an underwater Royal Meeting adventure is in order in the future? It could see Eric riding the king on his throne down in Atlantica if that happened

I'm curious just to how Eric and Gaston originally met? Also could you consider them as friends or just fuck buddies? It certainly seems that an origin comic for how they crossed paths could be done as a side story

There is something hot about angry daddy Triton. That's a lot of man({fish) there to love

Gaston mentions the Beast at one point and how his dick pales in comparison to Triton; that sounds like a story that needs to be told (and a possible size contest between Triton and the Beast is in the making)

A certain surprise character makes an appearance in the story and I must say, what a gorgeous hottie they are. Here's hoping we will see some redhead action in the next Royal Meeting...;)
