Once Upon a Gaily Time: the 2024 Calendar - January: The Snow King (Patreon)

Upon his throne of clear ice does the Snow King rule in haughty grandeur, his realm a place of nature's cold beauty. His frozen heart has no love or need for men, for his attentive icemen provide all the affection and obedience he could ask for. Still, perhaps there is some hope yet still for him...maybe there is someone that may one day visit this magnificent palace of ice and snow and find a means to kindle a spark of love within the king's breast once more...

The artwork for January from my 2024, Once Upon a Gaily Time. Created by Art of CLX this piece is my own take on the legend of the Snow Queen, a fitting fable for such a cold time of year as this is. Let us hope though things may get a bit more toasty as the year progresses onwards. <3
