I finally wrote the long overdue blog post about AI: what AI slop is, what it means for artists and for us as a studio, and what we've been doing about it. No AI was used to clean it up. It's straight from me, hand-edited, so it might be a little rough to read, but it's honest. so, whats happening with musclegrowthai.com? i never got a chance to use it, but was interested to try it out. for me, ai is a double edged sword for creators. some uses it since they can just prompt it to make their content, which is lame. on the other hand, it can be a tool for creators. for me, example, i use an ai chat app to “create” fanfic for me, as a pass time. i notice some creators using ai, but they need to understand that its a tool, and they need to revise those ai works to make it their own but overall, i respect your perseption on ai, and thank you for sharing ur pov and opinion

I think AI is great in the goods hands, Dustybottums for example is using AI to push his video production to the next level and that’s great. Low effort AI is bad like everything low effort. But AI is a revolution like digital and software tools were back in the day.

That website is closed down entirely. I sent a message to a lot of the former patrons on how they can essentially get the same thing that that website was selling for free. I didn't think it was right to continue trying to sell something that people could pay nothing for, practically.

Thank you for respecting the view here, and I understand that a lot of other people may not agree entirely. It makes a lot of sense to be 100% anti-AI because, if you don't look at it too closely, in my opinion, it can mean the end of artists. Although my opinion of that is different, my goal remains to be the best possible boss I can to the artists and the best possible person for those who support this channel by making the best art. We have a great comic coming out in the next 24 hours, and we have some extra comics coming, and hopefully Worst to First, final, not too far from now.

I agree here. Really low-quality drawings are also slop. It's just human-made slop. The challenge with AI slop is that it only takes seconds to make many, many, many items, so then it's just a flood of AI slop. That's annoying and deserves the criticism that it gets.
