[ANNOUNCEMENT] Returning to gay-only focus (Patreon)

Somewhat of a big announcement!

As a part of a new rework I'm doing with my Patreon and my art going forward, I'll be making a return to gay-only focus for my work. In part, it's because I've realized I just prefer thinking about and drawing males and male/male interactions, but there are a few big reasons why I want to, and the biggest three are these:

1) The straight art doesn't appear to be catching on much outside of a handful of you guys, and in the effort to keep gay and straight posts separate for those who preferred it, it's overcomplicated posting on Patreon for me and cluttered up my Discord server with additional unnecessary channels. Keeping everything in one place will streamline stuff for me and make it much easier to post.

2) This one's kinda personal and something I underestimated before trying this out - the majority of my close friends, including my husband, and even the people who are the most active members of my little Discord community are either fully gay or heavy male-preference bi. So it felt like instead of creating work for the majority of you to enjoy, straight work was just for the very small handful friends and myself who enjoy it, which actually caused an uncomfortable social isolation that I didn't expect.

3) After researching tons of fellow artists, I came to the conclusion that almost no one with a highly successful Patreon or webcomic has drastically different subjects with regards to sexuality, and if they do, it tends to be a shift from one category fully to another over a longer period of time, rather than from post to post. People usually pick a lane and maximize the fantasy within it, so for example, some people focus on femboys, some on waifus, some on big masculine guys. Hardly ever you'll see someone working on cute waifus and then the very next pic is two huge guys fucking lol. When you click on your favorite artists' gallery, it's just way more comfortable if practically all of it is the type of stuff you want to see.

So going forward:

-I won't be adding tags like [gay] in titles or just the regular gay tag that can be searched up in Patreon, or making separate posts, since everything will be gay or male-related somehow. I'll now focus on tags that distinguish quite specific themes like bdsm or rimming rather than tagging everything I do with cock/balls/anus, because duh xD

-I'm gonna explore more kinky stuff that I always wanted to get more in depth with, but have been holding back on. Stuff like harnesses/BDSM, size diff, musk/stinky male themes, cock and foreskin worship etc.

-My Discord over the next couple weeks will be slightly re-organized to have fewer channels. Some will merge, some will disappear, and some will change into a more modern version of their original intent.

-This doesn't mean that I'll never draw straight stuff, or you won't see a girl ever in any of my work (like for example, Karu, who's Mizuki and Kuroyuki's sister, who may appear in comic scenes as a support character) but just that if I do, it's probably just going to be a quick sketch and posted to social media or a regular gallery site as it'll be rarer and not meant to be content you can reliably expect to see from me on this account going forward. I'll also still happily take on commissions for straight stuff, so no worries there if you want to get some art from me! It's just not gonna be featured on my Patreon anymore.
