Anima Returns! (Patreon)

Hi friends! I'm ready to share more from my Anima series, this time featuring Angel! Not only was this painting a fun and unique challenge, but I enjoyed working with the model again after our painting together a couple of years ago!

Amusingly enough, I only had a TRAILER to work off of. I had assumed that "The Boy and the Heron" was out, and we would watch it during the painting. Instead we watched the trailer, and I tried to use my imagination to connect the dots.

Here is the trailer I used for inspiration:

Ready to see more of the painting?

Really fun side profile shot! The photo isn't as sharp as I'd like, but the angle was so cute.

We decided to put some jewels on him... the ring was designed by Amber Reigns (Immortal Reigns) and went nicely with the color scheme.

Did you catch the detail of the grass fields?

What did you think? I worked super hard on this, so I would appreciate your feedback! Thank you for your support on Patreon!!! <3
