Hi everyone! Yesterday I officially turned 30 - A major milestone in my life! 🎉

Since I was still in the middle of finishing Bulma's set yesterday, I decided to wrap it up first and push my birthday celebration to today instead. So I'm taking the day off today! In the meantime, I also researched a new 4K workflow.

Here are the results! What do you all think? I'd love to hear your thoughts! ✨🤔

Edit: The Patreon poll post compressed my images, so I had to post them separately in this post 👈

Overall: (You can only see the difference when you zoomed in or you set as wallpaper on bigger screen such as 2K+ PC monitor)

First of all: Happy birthday! Hope you have a great day. I'm looking forward to 2160p images. 1080p has become kinda small in times of 2160p and 1440p displays and you do notice artifacts if you scale 1080p images to 1440p or 2160p. At least 1440p should be the compromise. That, in fact, makes me kinda sad that the Olga, Shinano and Ahri sets were still in "low" resolution. Hope you can do these characters in some other theme in higher resolution at some point.

Happy freaking birthday!!🎂 I hope you enjoy yourself! You deserve it. In truth, the HD just doesn’t matter to me. I’m not often zooming in on the pictures, and the old way looks great already.

Happy Birthday Unc! Welcome to the club, it's not as bad as people say:) Hope you having an incredible day and enjoy your well-deserved break!

Regarding the resolution I think the 4k will obviously look better for PC viewers and is also gonna make be more patreon more desirable for attracting a new audience. I will slightly miss the grainy ness of the 1080p though. You should also consider how much it will blow up your download size and if it will affect your render pipeline.

Yeah I agree with you, I think 2k is a good trade off tbh. The 1080 currently doesn't look bad but it is more noticeable on monitors (especially with the landscape pics, the portrait ones do not look bad at all on PC)
