Steampunk rules. It does! It is very cool! Victorian fantasy + anachronistic mechanisms is just a winning formula. There's also decidedly little intentionally steampunk music. I feel like lots of RPG composers (myself included!) will occasionally release a track with some gear sounds and the occasional anvil hit and say "word, that's steampunk." And like... yeah, I guess it is. ANYWAY! I've compiled a bunch of those sorts of tracks along with other more "mechanically minded" fantasy music for this playlist!

So that's what DnD Steampunk is. Crunchy London-esque soundscapes with industrial vibes. Some stuff here is more intense and some more ambient... You may need to skip around a bit to score individual scenes, but I promise everything here is unquestionably steampunk-y in vibe.

Also, you may have noticed that I've got a different style of art for this playlist cover! I've actually updated all of my playlist covers with a variety of pieces from our incredible cadre of Borough Bound artists. As always: if you want more RPG stuff (music included!), please check out Borough Bound.

I've added this playlist to my master Spotify Playlist post. Speaking of which: if you haven't checked out my whole range of playlists, definitely consider giving them a listen! While I think the Music d20 tracks on my playlists are quite good, I also would lose my mind if I had to only listen to Will Savino originals. There's lots of cool stuff on these playlists that are worth your attention!
