Hope you guys like this one! I think the new changes allowed both to co-exist as excellent alternatives that actually accommodate each other in combat.

I'm looking forward to this. The old design felt like you would see a lot more if you looked at it from the side, but that didn't sit well with Starsector's top-down command view. Thanks for the preview, Cy.

Goblin Slayer

I love what you're doing Cy but the for some reason I still preffer the original ones.

The new sentries definitely have that aurorian style, love it.

These new designs really look quite impressive. However, I have two questions regarding the new weapons. -When limited ammunition is mentioned? Are they referring to the railgun or the missile battery (Sakura MLRS) -What is the difference between having one or two railguns? Will the version that has the two railguns fire two consecutive shots with a simple click or will it simply have a higher rate of fire? Because the design of both ships shows that they only have a single railgun... PD: I love the good work both in design and balance that you are constantly doing, keep it up.

For starters, I began to wonder if its possible to implement a new mechanic for the Sentries. Something akin to passive reward for skilled shots? What if... for one confirmed kill, you get +1 instant ammo regen and projectile velocity increase? Well, the black sentry gets two identical gun instead of just one. They still perform exactly the same way as you'd expect or used to in the current patch.

I see. I think I understand what you're getting at. Be that as it may, it will be interesting to test the performance of the new Sentry models (especially the CY/MP version). And thanks for the explanation.
