This is Prototype 1 KTMXHancer 2026 Update. This mod updates Prototype 1 to contemporary standards, incorporating fixes for modern computers and operating systems. Enhancements include crash fixes, unlimited resolutions and frame rates, as well as the addition of a debugging menu. 4K Upscaled and Remastered Textures: Experience the game with high-definition textures. Enhanced Lighting: Utilizing Reshade's global illumination technology and ambient occlusion, the game now features menacingly beautiful lighting and realistic day/night differences. Character Improvements: Alex Mercer's clothing, armor, and weapons have been upgraded to high definition. His weapons now glow with a red aura, matching the concept art. It adds extreme gore and blood and also DLSS5 support with easy preset.

i'm having the same issue! I followed the tutorial correctly and launched the installer as admin just as you said. I have no issue running prototype without the launcher, it just doesn't have all your improvements that you've added except for the reshade and MAYBE texmod but i'm not sure.

only issue is it's locked to 30 fps... prototypefix doesnt work with your mod at all aswell. just crashes instead

something changed in windows thats causing this in recent months. try deleting the mod and installing prototpe fix

The audio is very low; I tried turning the volume up and it's still very quiet. The environmental sensitivity when I move the character feels stiff, like it's stuck. I tried increasing the mouse sensitivity in the game and it's still the same.

I managed to fix the stuttering by limiting the FPS to 60. I don't think it's compatible with anything higher. Now the only problem is the audio, which is still very low. How do I fix it?
