If there were a skull reflected in the mirror, it would be PERFECT for a forest witch horror film...where SHE'S the protagonist!!

THE ETERNAL SPRING OF AMARYL JONQUILL. Everyone knows the Jonquill Clan have been around since…forever, apparently. What the townsfolk don’t know is just how long that forever has been. The Jonquills have a secret they’ve been keeping, access to one of the few outlets to the legendary River of Life from which the tale of the Fountain of Youth was inspired by. The River grants renewed life, youth and vitality at certain times when the celestial conjunctions align perfectly. But there is a price to pay for such a gift, and keeping the outlet secret is just a part of it. Amaryl is the “matriarch” of the Jonquill Clan, having been the beneficiary of the rejuvenating waters for centuries and pretending to be one relation or another to the public since local recorded history. She has had many admirers and companions both male and female in her long extraordinary life and she has condemned most of them within the waters itself to ensure both the outlet’s secret and her unearthly powers. But…she’s weary of eternity and having to shackle another foolish suitor to everlasting misery as an addition to the outlet’s tributaries. She want to once again be mortal and live a normal lifespan that includes aging and death. Her Clan, however, have other ideas and do not intend on letting their oldest family member renounce immortality and close the access forever. Caught in the middle is a college student researching for her doctoral thesis, slowly realizing her ties to her town’s venerable family & the source of power that is a blessed curse. Is she the key to free both addicts and victims from their never ending nightmare or will she become yet another victim trapped within the eternal spring, never to know the end of time or of Amaryl?
