there’s something so magical about the way zb1 does cover, which reminds me of what tvxq uknow said about them in immortal song for their the way u are cover, they keep the original essences of the songs but at the same time they add their own flairs to it 🥹 , essentially their covers are very reminiscent of the original and they make it as if it’s their own song :’) so proud of how far these boys have come as artists and performers as someone who have been watching them since boys planet 😭

Just a heads-up PD: ZB1 dropped a Special Summer Video MV for their Pre-Release track SWEAT today!! The 3rd Mini Album is titled You Had Me At Hello and is scheduled for release on 05/13 (Comeback). FUN FACT: When you look at the albums' covers on streaming platforms, the way the titles are cropped, you realize they are spelling You Had Me At Hello. +YOU in the HAD (Youth in the Shade) +ME (Melting Point) +AT (Sweat)

I’m not well versed in idol relationships/connections with companies, but I don’t understand why they can’t all leave their companies and just continue as Zerobaseone under Wakeone. Like make fans’ dreams a reality. They seem popular enough to do well as ZB1 anyways, so I just don’t get why it’s not possible

I'm not sure if it's still the case nowadays but trainees sign a contract with their agency once you're set to debut and you can't just part ways like that. And besides, I'm pretty sure each of their companies have plan for them once their contract end. Companies send their trainees to survival shows in the main goal of gaining exposure, attracting fans and attention so that they have something to look forward to once they debut under their respective companies. it takes a LOT of paperwork and money. Especially now that zb1 has gotten pretty popular, I wouldn't want to part ways with talented idols if I was in their companies' shoes

Wonder if you know of Wanna One or not. It’s a boy group that came from another mnet idol survival show, Produce 101 Season 2. They were EXTREMELY popular in Korea and their Center/ Rank 1, Kang Daniel was literally in every variety show imaginable. After wanna one disbanded after their 2.5 yrs contract, Daniel and his agency went to court as it seems Daniel wanted to leave the company. So there was this huge deal about it, rumours and scandals of Daniel was being brought up by news agencies all of a sudden and dispatch revealed that he was dating Twice’s Jihyo at the time. Months later, he won the case and left the company, founded his own company called Konnect Ent. which now houses former GFRIEND main vocal Yuju and CL from 2ne1. It’s just extremely difficult to leave their actual agencies even more for ZB1 bcoz they’re so popular and their own agencies would want to keep them for themselves.
