Man this song makes me feel hopeful and a tinge of sad, the melody is really good. Love this comeback/OT24 debut! (Rising era was only 10) Seems like they had two different choreography pieces for the video and on music shows/lives they unfortunately don't do the more modern/contemp one in the robes with the crazy formations. Makes sense, cameras might not be used to so many members and that wide on the live shows, so I hope they release the full video of it! The hype choreo is just so good though, so powerful with all 24 of them (The lives are so good), I can tell they really practiced hard with their dance skills, they leveled up from before. Weirdly enough the dance break isn't in the album version of the song??? but they use it for all performances. S1 (Seoyeon - no training girl) and S24 (Real name Suhyeon which is crazy lol but stage name chosen for her is Jiyeon) were the two girls who jumped off the building, full circle moment having the first and last and forming one bird. Also, I recommend watching Badge War! It's their first variety show from a little while back with the first 16 members, only 4 episodes, BUT they just announced a season 2 with all 24 with a trailer yesterday! Can't wait for the Listening Party! Much Love PD!

Well worth it to check out the Suit Dance from 1theK and honestly as odd as it sounds, the fixed camera version of the performance video from their Weekly Idol appearance if only to hear 24 girls all hitting their foot stomps exactly at the same time. Their Weekly Idol episode was AMAZING....absolutely non stop and hysterical and MANY of these girls have super bright potential in the entertainment/variety world. Also, when they had 16 members they did a series on 1theK called Badge Wars which was 4 episodes that was one of 1theK's best idol variety shows and season 2 with all 24 is dropping like May 20-25 or around there.

As far as the video....remember, it's Jaden Jeong brainchild of LOONA so there are connections to most of the previous TripleS videos and not just Rising

Edward Lee

It isn't just that S1 and S24 are both Seoyeon, it's also that S2 and S23 are both hyerins (sort of....I think one is a hye and the other a hae)

Yeah that’s right! Just didn’t wanna make my comment any longer LOL

Oh god, I love tripleS. I’ve completely fallen down the rabbit hole. I started with only knowing Kotone from GP999 and now I’m 500- episodes into their vlog series and I’m in love with nearly every song they release. Girls Never Die is about to go platinum in my headphones 🎧. I can’t wait for more from them!

and on your own time (bc they aren't subbed and the viral moments are VERY korean), one cool thing that's happened since AAA is that Yoo Yeon has become kind of a viral star on the Bae 10 radio show. She's pretty legendary for totally unexpected reasons and always has at least 1-2 absolute crazy moments every time she's on (I think she's been on 4 times?)

Shiber

The scene when they became one bird thats Seoyeon S1 and Jiyeon S24 meaning that they all become one

Giraffe

Please please please PD-nim react to Assemble24. You won't regret it :)

Jinyatta

Their upcoming reality/game show is going to be crazy. The first one (Strong Girl Badge War) was nutty with 16 girls, the OT24 version is gonna be absolutely bonkers.

Syndra

PD. They got their first music show win on the Show. So proud of all 24 members.

Music lover

Wishing the same that they release the contemporary dance version, even the glimps of it is art

Wiktor

The way Xinyu went from “Chinese May In U+ME=LOVE” in GirlsPlanet to XINYU of TripleS. I’m so proud of her

If you think this sounds like rising, they have a song called 24 on the album that really sounds like Rising 2 Electric Bogaloo. But yeah, the La La Las had to be there so the fans voted this song with a landslide. Also if you haven't seen Badge War yet, it's tripleS variety with 16 members competing to earn badges. And there will be a second season of that starting at the end of may on 1theK with all 24 members. Maybe even only to recommend for you to get to know the new members a little better

Waiting for PD to react to Assemble24 and Badge War

And now her English name is Felicia, and she is a creakhead (actually all of them are but she is EXTRA)

PD, some additional information about the M/V. The whole underlying premise of the video is that the girls are in constant contact with death (suicide or otherwise), however, this never comes to the climax creating the phrase "Girls Never Die." Chapter 1 As you can also see in the video are the ants on Soomin's hand, these represent that she is rotting away just like the bird in the next shot of Jiwoo (the meaning of this is that we are too preoccupied with Social Media and want to assume too much from others). They also indicate that they want to hide their pain and difficulties through makeup, and you can see one of the girls (I can't see exactly who this is) running away from her problems in the beginning. The girls also look down at the grave in which they themselves are dancing. This could have a double meaning, either this is about burying themselves or just burying their past (more on that in Chapter 3) Chapter 2 This section shows the contact with suicide. You see Yooyeon sitting in the bathtub and contemplating her worries until the moment she decides to drown herself (which of course fails). Then you see Hayeon crossing the street where she gets hit by a car, or just barely. Also, the lyrics indicate that no matter how much pain/difficulty they experience, they come out of it as a stronger/better person Dance Break From my own interpretation, the white outfits symbolize the guardian angels (this could be a reference to Acid Angels of Asia) and the white light represents the gateway to the afterlife. So it is like a dance for life and death. Chapter 3 You see the girls looking up to find out if there is a way back/out of the grave. You also see a crow pass by several times. These are known to come upon death, but also symbolize a sign of hope. As a representation of a crow, S1 Seoyeon and S24 Jiyeon (who's real name is Suhyeon) are both given a wing of a crow. This indicates that TripleS is a group that will give hope to each other through thick and thin and to the fans. Yooyeon then says "Do you want to start over?" to indicate that there is always an opportunity to see the positive in something. After this, 24 crows fly away, aka TripleS. My thoughts This is a Debut that I don't think can be surpassed anytime soon. I also have to say that the song gets better and better the more you listen to it. The choreography is truly another masterpiece, and every time I watch the M/V again I look with amazement and can even get emotional. In my opinion, it's a 15/10 When I also look at the story behind it, this also reminds me a bit of how you share your feelings from time to time and how you have been in life over the past few years. But that every time you still manage to see the positive in something, always want to improve yourself and become the new HYBE (which doesn't seem very wise to me right now, so i'll put JYP, YG or SM instead) If you want to know a little more about the girls I recommend you to watch their 2 “seasons” of Badge War (its 4 episodes in season 1 and season 2 is due to be released on 24-05-2024). It is a very entertaining show that goes to death (at least not far from it). But you know it “Girls Never Die”. I'll list the members here: S1: Yoon Seoyeon (Korean, 2003, ISFP) S2: Jeong Hyerin (Korean, 2007, ISFJ) S3: Lee Jiwoo (Korean, 2005, ISTP) S4: Kim Chaeyeon (Korean, 2004, ESFP) S5: Kim Yooyeon (Korean, 2001, INTP) S6: Kim Soomin (Korean, 2007, ENTP) S7: Kim Nakyoung (Korean, 2002, INFP) S8: Gong Yubin (Korean, 2005, ISTP) S9: Yamada Kaede (Japanese, 2005, INFP) S10: Seo Dahyun (Korean, 2003, ISFP) S11: Kamimoto Kotone (Japanese, 2004, ENFP) S12: Kwak Yeonji (Korean, 2008, ENFP) S13: Hsu Nien Tzu/Nien (Taiwanese/Vietnamese, 2003, ESFJ) S14: Park Sohyun (Korean, 2002, INTJ) S15: Zhou Xinyu/Shinwi (Chinese, 2002, ENTP) S16: Koma Mayu (Japanese, 2002, ENFJ) S17: Kawakami Lynn (Japanese, 2006, ISFP) S18: Joo Bin/Joobin (Korean, 2009, ISFJ) S19: Jeong Hayeon (Korean, 2007, ENTP) S20: Park Shion (Korean, 2006, ESFP) S21: Kim Chaewon (Korean, 2003, INTP) S22: Bunraksa Pirada/Sullin (Thai, 2006, INFJ) S23: Jeong Haerin/SeoAh (Korean, 2010, ESTP) S24: Ji Suhyeon/Jiyeon (Korean, 2004, ISTP)

I'm so excited for your Assemble24 listening party :D

Hey PD! I know others have said this before, but I strongly recommend checking out their Badge Wars variety series. There are four episodes currently out featuring 16/26 members, but the new 24/24 season comes out next week. The show's format consists of challenges (either individual or team-based) in which the winners win badges. tripleS is full of extremely competitive members, and just the sheer number makes the show and extremely fun watch and is a great way to get to know the members. :)
