idk if there's a reason the song is called "smeraldo garden marching band" BUT! The whole smeraldo thing comes from bts' lore and BU and it's a lore within the lore lmao. For the love myself series promotions BigHit made a blog in which a made up florist posts about his shop and explains an origin of smeraldo flower. It's a fictional flower which, in the flower language means "non potevo dire la verità", or "the truth that couldn't be told". The song 'the truth untold' is base on this fake fale about the smeraldo flower. Idk how all this ties to Jimin's song, but one piece of info I know is that after FACE was released, Jimin and producers were playing games and they named their team "Smeraldo Marching Band". So yeah basically bighit created a flower for the sake of BTS' lore and somehow they're still messing with us with this lore stuff YEARS later.

This concept is inspired by Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band by the Beatles. Smeraldo is a fictional flower from the BTS Universe that represents the meaning of the BTS song The Truth Untold. The Truth Untold is about someone who is afraid to confess their love and regrets not doing so, while Smeraldo Garden Marching Band is about being open, honest, and generous with love. After working together on Jimin's Face album, PDogg, Ghstloop, Evan, and Jimin jokingly called themselves the Smeraldo Garden Marching Band.

Tbh not a fan of this song at all, feels super disappointing after Like Crazy came out (but I am guessing this wasn’t a full on comeback… right?)
