Also the show for the 2nd live stage is The Seasons. It's the successor to You Hee-yeol's Sketchbook. They have a rotating host for each of the 4 seasons. Zico is the current host. Jay Park, Choi Junghoon, AKMU, and Lee Hyori were hosts for the previous 4 seasons respectively.

I had this thought about Chuu. She is the perfect embodiment of what it means to be an idol… Because if you think about it, what does it mean to be an idol and why people decide to be an idol? If you think about it from the skills perspective (dancing, rapping, singing), it does not make sense for an artist focused on any of these aspects to be interested in being an idol. In the case of being a rapper, it is the most obvious, why it does not make sense. The freedom of speech, the way hip hop scene views idol rappers (although it has been slightly changing) and in general being able only to rap does not mean you should or could be an idol. When it comes to being a dancer, people may say it make sense, but it depends… Sure, if you like dancing in the way of “I like to learn choreographies to certain Pop or K-Pop/it is my casual hobby”, then why not… But if you are the type of person who truly gets passionate into any kind of dance and you get into the pro level (regardless if it is any style of street dance, ballet or any style of social dances), then it is questionable why you want to be an idol, because you will use your knowledge in the K-Pop training and it will be super useful, but most likely you will never dance these dances in the K-Pop choreographies, because at the end of the day K-Pop choreographies are just MTV Dance (style of Street Dance) focused choreographies, which are pretty much used for choreographies for music videos, which does not mean pro dancers look down on this style, but it is not the most “honorable” style. Therefore for a (pro) dancer it makes more sense to stay in the dance scene. Being a good singer is out of these 3 the most understandable if you want to become an idol, but mainly as a soloist and then it depends if you just like to sing or if you have any artistic vision for yourself, because in that case it depends a lot how much freedom you get compared to the case of debuting as a non-idol singer and if you debut as an idol in a group, then there is the whole discussion of “Are you even a singer or artist if you get just a few seconds in a song?”. But here comes the aspect of what it means to be an idol. I hope every K-Pop fan agrees that K-Pop is not just about the music and the same goes for idols and the fact that their profession is not purely music related. I mean, sure… being an idol is like being an actor of music, who portrays different roles based on specific concepts and visions for their career or at least an era of their career. Therefore I think it is alright if K-Pop artists are not involved in the music production. I appreciate when they are, but I do not view it as a negative thing if they are not involved, because of my comparison to actors… you do not blame actors for not participating on the production of a movie either… But what makes idols different from singers, rappers and dancers? (Besides the fact of having to be able to be at least somehow versatile with their skills because of the “actor of music” factor I mentioned). In my point of view it is the real life aspect of being something like an icon for the general public. But an icon with a good intention to have the best/only positive impact to the public/to the world. Basically what I am describing is being an influencer, although back then influencers did not exist yet. Obviously I mean those “correct” influencers, who have a proper and good impact on people, who like them. To put it simply… being an idol means to be the publicly known persona to which people can look up to or rely on in unpleasant times of their lives. Embodiment of hope is the best way to express what I am trying to say. Therefore when someone decides to be an idol, they want to be the hope/they want to provide the hope for people through music in which they utilize their talent and skills. At least this is the scenario how it should be… obviously there are many cases in which those people just want to be famous, so they learn the skills they are able to learn or they are good looking, so they may not even work that hard to become famous through being an idol. But in the case of Chuu… She is the perfect example of what it means and why people decide to be an idol! She embodies the definition of hope on 100%!
