FYI the Japanese dance line member you keep noticing (pink pants for Call Me Baby practice and starts center for Girls Never Die dance break) is Kaede.

Call Me Baby Cover includes : S2 - Hyerin S7 - Nakyoung S8 - Yubin S9 - Kaede (The other Japanese member in Pink Pants also in tripleS Aria, very good dancer and vocalist) S10 - Dahyun S11 - Kotone S13 - Nien S15 - Xinyu (Tall member) Recently there was a vote for a DANCE unit for tripleS called VV with 12 members. More or less the same as this cover + the dance break members of Girls Never Die with a few changes/add ons including S5 Yooyeon, S12 Yeonji and S24 Jiyeon! As far as other reactions : Performance wise - the Non Scale live stages are fun! They are actually having a fan concert this weekend that will most likely include OT24 versions of Rising and Colorful. (Their previous concert had OT20 versions that are on youtube) From previous concerts/showcases there are performances for their song Atmosphere (Full english, a fan favorite BUT they haven't released the song...idk why lol) There are Lovelution/Evolution and OT16 versions In a similiar vein, there is a unit performace of INTO DANGER including Seoyeon, Nakyoung, Kotone, and Sohyun. Again, it was a song they performed at the Lovelution showcase with Seoyeon and Sohyun, then Evolution with Naky and Sohyun, but they did a combined one. Dahyun was also on The King of Masked Singer if that's something you like! Variety wise - the tripleS WEEKLY IDOL episode is honestly amazing. Their episode withe GREEGURA is also really good just to see the members one by one!

Japanese dancers (when they're good) are EXTREMELY good. It seems like in japan (for girls) you go down a dance route or you go down the AKB/NMB route which relies and stresses image so much more heavily. And Japan historically has really emphasized technical skills, breaking, popping, etc. It seems like ever since Momo, the non-akb/nmb/etc japanese dancers who become kpop idols are all top notch technicians (I mean, just look at Nikki in Enhypen) and TripleS is no different. The japanese line are all top of the line dancers in the group with the exception of Mayu but it doesn't matter bc she's the epitome of kawaii japanese and shes a little unique like yooyeon in the sense that she was already in college studying something else before becoming an idol but Kotone, Kaede, and Lynn are all A++++ technical dancers in comparison to Nakyung or Sohyun (who are just as technical) but are top notch when needing to be expressive while dancing

The synchronized steps and stomps in the GND dance practice are one of the most satisfying things ever. Actually absurd how they pulled off a 24-person choreography and did it SO WELL.

Glow is great and I also recommend and I also think it was smart to do it NXT style without an official MV or comeback (right on the heels of GND as well as Sullin just seems to need a little more time with language and practice. All of this must be SO overwhelming for her). What stands out, to me, is Chaewon is a REALLY REALLY well trained idol already when you watch the Glow stuff. She seems to be the most comfortable on camera and her dancing stands out (and I also think she has the most lines even though SeoAh has the most distinct voice). Im not surprised she was featured in Badge Wars S2 (along with Jiyeon) and already has been on a LOT of lives and whatnot as a soft intro to Glow

PD i definitely agree with hat you talked about at the end. I think for the choreo, a lot has to do with their choreographer - Choi Hyoje. He's a former SM choreographer that worked a lot with NCT, he's done choreos like 7th sense, regular or EXOs growl. Hyoje has been with them since the beginning. As for Jaden Jeong, it does feel very LOONA and in that Jaden probably plays the biggest role. I've recommendet this before, but this is a talk Jaden did with the ARTMS girls about the ARTMS project, LOONA and the past. Very interesting especially as a Orbit. Their Call Me Baby dance cover is what made me finally take the plunge into tripleS. That and Yooyeon's appearance on Kebyke Restaurant with Xiaoting, Chaehyun, and Mashiro of Kep1er. Very happy I did!
