I relate to Hitoka so much. I struggle a lot with drive and motivation and imposter syndrome because I can't bring myself to work as hard as others around me. It's really cathartic watching her fall for Karasuno's passion the same way I do and wanting to siphon off even a bit of their drive for myself. I also get a big boost from being around people like Hinata like she seems to.

I feel the same but unfortunately for me even if I think something is inspiring or beautiful like haikyuu is (aside from nature because I’m a nature lover), I always fail to feel it inspiring me as much as I can see how it inspires others if that makes sense. In other words, I have a hard time feeling inspired on the same level enough to push me forward instead of cowering away all the time even over some of the smallest of things. So that’s always a constant struggle for me and I must say it can definitely be tiring feeling that way when something beautiful happens.

Oh yeah, the change definitely has to happen within at the end of the day. So I get "inspred" on every rewatch, but not much changes because I'm not putting in the effort. It's a good reminder at the very least but very much easier said than done to just jump start motivation like that. Mental health is so much more complicated than that unfortunately
