This show is an absolute masterpiece, I freakin loved your reactions this episode especially to Eun-Sung’s character, I can’t wait for you to watch the rest 😭 And yes Hyeon-Tae, Hyun-woo, and Mi-Seon are all siblings, at first it confused me as well 💀 the foreshadowing and parallels in this show are sooo good, not to mention the comedic timing is amazinggg, I can see exactly why I was getting so many queen of tears related TikToks on my feed for so long

I’m trying to enjoy the show during the funny moments they have but I feel this overwhelming sense of dread watching the episodes like idk if it’s all the lies and schemes, the studio dragon of it all knowing we’re gonna want them to be together, or just the controlling family and relationship machinations that just are a little too real ☠️ I feel so tense

I'm late but I'm really enjoying watching this with you. I'm not a native speaker but I've watched a lot of k-drama since I was young. There's a lot of really good subtitles but I do think some nuance can be lost in translation. I find myself appreciating a lot of korean lines/dialog used in k-drama because they can be really poetic/pretty or carries a deeper feeling/meaning, but the sentiment can sometimes be lost in translation. People around me don't really understand my excitement for certain scenes/lines because the way the lines are delivered or constructed usually conveys the speaker mindset or feeling at that moment and it sometimes got lost in the translation. Like in the conversation that Hae In had with Hyun Woo after the wild boar incident where she said the doctor has been saying that she is dying but she really realize how dying felt and how real it was during that incident. I feel like the translation makes Hae In just seems tough, but what I get from her lines and delivery was, apart from her determination to stay alive, it also conveys how vulnerable she felt at that moment. This is just my take but while the subtitle does get the message across (her determination to stay alive), some subtle sentiment can get lost in the translation. Jokes also don't land as intended sometimes especially if it has play on words in it. So I'm really excited to hear your thought on this drama because you speak both English and Korean. 😁😁 I'll try to catch up to where you are right now with this drama, so you might see me in the comment section again.. Hehe..

I love how much you also hate Eunseong from the beginning of this show, it's only gonna get worse haha
