Omg this is such a hard decision! Weightlifting Fairy is one of the best dramas I've ever watched. It has much sports anime vibes! Highly recommend for anyone on here who has never seen it before! Twinkling watermelon is amazing too tho! No matter what I'll watch of course haha

Weightlifting Fairy is one of my favorite comfort watches! The only negative for me, is that after the 3rd rewatch, I really can't stand Bok-joo's over the top wailing anymore 😅😅 I always fast forward those parts lol

Lovely/Watermelon are definitely the MOST ROMcom, Weightlifting the most slice of life (there are some really devastating scenes about just life and expectation/disappointment/joy/etc), Mouse is def the most F***ED up one, Pyramid is a bully drama so thats pretty self-explanatory, and Taxi Driver is the most action/episodic. Really just kinda depends on what you're in the mood for. They're all really good

Even if pd doesn’t start pyramid game in September i hope pd can eventually get around to watching it 🙏 it’s a spectacular show.

What PD!! 😭😱 Making me choose between "Lovely Runner" vs "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" !!!!! This was sooooi hard, too cruel 🥺. Weightlifting fairy was like the best at that time, a wholesome package. And Lovely runner is my latest favourite. Its freaking awesome. Wish the list had "Welcome to samdalri" it was soo good, i brawled out crying, laughed and yelled with them.it was truley a meaningful deep strory and i just loved how they managed to keep everything so well executed by using the haneo (i think thats wthat they are called) jeju female divers. It was a rollercoaster of emotions that i hant felt soo deeply for a while watching a kdrama. Hope it gets a chance here someday. I did watch Twinkling watermelon too but at some point i lost interest. I dont know if others would agree but one of the main actor felt like he was overacting and thats just how i felt maybe it was tone of dialogue delivery, i dont know . No hate to him, i actually watched it with a lot of interest but along the journey i started taking note of it too much so i couldnt properly focus and didnt enjoy it anymore.

The Weightlifting monologue she gives to him when he surprises her during her competition is still one of the best, most real monologues I've ever heard in kdramas and just makes me tear up thinking about it it's so heartfelt and devastating at the same time

I knowww, the show treads such a wonderful line between comedy and honesty that most dramas try too but cant quiet manage. Nothing feels out of place and it doesn't matter if the characters are being silly or struggling it resonates so well with personal experiences. Damn it looks like I'm gunna be rewatching weightlifting fairy no matter if PD reacts to it or not!!

Mouse is such a great drama and it deserves more recognition than it’s been given. Twists were so good. If you do watch it, hopefully you don’t get spoiled. It’s such a great psychological thriller

10000% agree. They totally could've gone cookie cutter but there are just some incredibly endearing and developmental moments within the typical romcom tropes. The gymnasts storyline (sidenote, she's one of my favorite actresses and variety actor) could've easily just been the "bad" girl but even she got a pretty well developed story arc

I feel like PDnim will really enjoy all the soundtracks from Lovely Runner, the fictional band in the drama their songs even got into Melon Top3 and got into Billboard Top200 as well.
