THE FIRST TAKE: aespa 'Supernova'

To the part of you being surprised that Giselle can sing like that: She used to be in a choir, so there is your answer/explanation. Also… because of that I have always felt like she was assigned with the rap position by SM. And because of that Karina has always seemed to me as the main rapper.

Although they arent the main vocalist I absolutely love Karina and Giselle’s singing. They can SING sing for sure. Karina has that soul in her voice and Giselle has a very pretty tone! Because of that Giselle stood out to me in their debut Black Mamba :)

Giselle actually auditioned with rap and was known as a trainee with really good rap abilities who wrote her own raps. I think before Giselle joined the company Karina probably was going to be the main rapper, but when Giselle came in it became clear she was the better choice for main rapper.

To answer your question, aespa's fandom name is MY. It means "the most precious friend" in their Kwangya lore.

obsessed with the way they absolutely devoured and then are just like “woǒóõò heehee”

Giselle’s solo song on their recent tour dopamine is fully a vocal song and really shows off her singing and tone!
