U should for sure check out the studio choom for kill the Romeo. It's rlly good, the choreo is awesome

I honestly think this group is cursed for picking the wrong lead single. In bloom was the only time I feel they had the proper lead. Melting Point for me should have lead with "take my hand" , hello should have been "sweat" for this album it should have been "kill the Romeo". Luckily kill the Romeo is the b side they perform. Definitely recommend watching the studio choom kill the Romeo performance.

Another vote for checking out studio choom/music show performances for Kill the Romeo, the whole package is title track worthy, I would argue even more catchy than Good so Bad (and GSB is great as is). As much as I enjoyed this album overall, I do think its their best... but I have to agree lack of music identity kinda hurts. I also really disliked Feel the pop - especially that SWEAT WAS RIGHT THERE GUYS WTF. WakeOne works them to the bone throughout that short ass contract, they really could put a lot more effort into their music direction and make it more cohesive. Group is insanely talented vocally and performance wise, fanbase is fairly dedicated, if album sales do indicate anything. I would be thoroughly disappointed if at the end of this contract they don't leave one or many massive hits that every kpop fan remembers years down the line.

just have to say i do not agree that kill the romeo should have been the tt for this album. i love good so bad, it's unique and catchy and dreamy!! but yeah, this mini album and melting point are both contenders for my favorite albums from them.

k !

If you want my take on it, I genuinely think Sweat was meant to be the title track on YHMAH (with Sunday Ride as the promoted b side), but they ended up getting FTP from Max and they didn’t want to turn it down so they shelved The Sea from the last album and released it here

Amanda Bernström

pls check out kill the romeo live stage and studio choom

warning: wall of text! disclaimer: i'm more of a dancer than a musician, so take all of this with a grain of salt and think of it more as an opinion. personally, ktr would have made a great title track. while both good so bad and ktr had the same theme lyrically (not wanting your doomed fate to be set in stone), i think ktr executed it way better. musically, ktr had better structure and climax (the climax in gsb wasn't as satisfying for me) this is only a silly little theory, but i think imsuho composed ktr with title track in mind, not a b-side. why? because imsuho has been one of the main producers that kept the musical identity for zb1 since debut. the structure of ktr is basically that of in bloom and crush. these 3 songs also share one of the same main genre: synth-pop! (note: sweat has a bit of synth-pop too). note that even with ktr, it still misses another main genre in bloom, crush, and yura yura had: drum-and-bass. (i'd even argue that zb1 made drum-and-bass a trend for kpop recently, but i always stop my delulu mind right there because nwjns and super shy exist)

(as a dancer tho, i'd highly recommend you watch kill the romeo studio choom! such a fun video, and your son gunwook ate so hard at the last post-chorus)

omg no bc i swore sweat was more title track material then FTP😭

KTR is soooo good but i personally think good so bad was the perfect TT for the album

CB

agreed, i understand the arguments for why ktr would have been a good tt but good so bad continues the brighter/upbeat sound that they do so well and have made their signature. although i personally am hoping we get a bside mv for ktr because i do think it makes sense as the next step in the good so bad storyline.

they put road movie as the opening song on tour setlist so i guess they agree with you on that
