This arc is DEEP as hell. It dives into politics, economy, human mind, why there are wars, how the world "runs".. etc you know. Blink and you miss type of stuff. Series like One Piece does this also but not this compact as HxH. I quite enjoy this kinda stuff in anime.

This’ll be hard to watch again. But I’m going to try to stick with you PD. I’ve watched this arc more than once because I tried to get through it with other rectors as well, and I always hate it. I try not to hate things because that’s such a strong emotion and never in a good way, but I really do hate it. I appreciate the lens being shined on the different aspects of humans and human society, but they do it with bugs, which I hate so much, and in the cruelest way possible. This arc is like a massive change-up in a song that most of the time makes me dislike it if not done in a smooth way. It’s like that but without any transitions whatsoever which makes it seem like a different thing on its own. No amount of times watching the previous arcs would prepare you or warrant this 360 change or the amount of death that will come. I don’t mind dark and deep stuff, but when it gets too dark and drama-driven with a lack of morals and things like that, I don’t want to see that.

I am catching up with Hunter x Hunter, so I mention this here. I found out through a YouTube Short that the anime missed one thing related to Gon and Kite. people have said it already but be warned that this arc is going to be a LOT. yorknews a fun, easy watch because of how fast paced it was, but this arc is painfully long and has a ridiculous amount of buildup. that said, the payoff is REAL and theres a very good reason why its a fan favorite despite it all.

I’m so curious. Even before I started this SHOW I heard the heavy anti Chimera arc talk. It seems people either LOVE or HATE this arc. No in between. Kinda like how people feel about Hisoka 😂
