Seeing how much more confidence the girls have had this era on stage whether that be on music shows, at universities, or even on radio shows, has been so incredible to see ~ I don't think I've ever fallen for a group this fast since Billlie and I'm so looking forward to whatever they produce next Also, weirdly enough some stages had vocals but only in their fancams and in the full group vids you can't hear anything but the track - I think the only music show video I remember having clear vocals was their Simply K-Pop stage

Andie

Woni reminds me of WJSN Bona. They don't necessarily look alike, but her presence reminds me of Bona.

i am not sure why but they barely had any live vocals showing on music shows during LOVE ATTACK promotions. it's only been now, during their encore LOVE ATTACK stages (after a week of PINBALL), that they had some clear live vocals. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCVwGcINgn0&ab_channel=MnetK-POP) During their debut era their live vocals were coming through a lot harder

Tobi

can confirm from all the live singing they do during their lives that Woni & May are a little weaker than the other 3. They are still pretty solid tho. Zena in the middle and Liv & especially Minami are great singers

Zena (제나) is pronounced Jena, or am I failing with my Hangul pronunciations lol.

But they chose a Z, which is why I say Zena versus Jena. There’s no Z sound in Korean, and they take the British/Australian approach (I can’t remember which country does this forgive me) and say the word Z as “Jet”. Like they use the term MZ in Korean for the millennial zoomer in between generation and they say “M-Jet”. Or if you were to say ZEBRA they would say “JEEBRA”. So I assume her name is Zena given the specific letter choice, they just don’t have that specific phonetic so they write it as JENA in Hangul. Same for their group name. They very specifically write it as “REE-SEN-NUH” (which is not flattering phonetically) but pronounce their group name as REE-SEN-NAY (probably to sound flowery and French). But writing it as 리센네 looks spelling wise INSANE in Hangul lmaoo. So I think they take a lot of creative liberties with names…

Andie

Yeah and also the way she performs - it's really sharp but elegant at the same time which again reminds me of Bona

Yes I know but stylized romanization vs the hangul... its still pronounced Jena. I went back and watched her intro video and she pronouced it Jena. I mean no disrespect, nor am I trying to argue with you, but as with other names/group names in the past you usually default to hangul pronunciation, so I thought it odd that even with the hangul on screen you got hung up on the stylized romanization. Like with VIVIZ before, but its actually prnounced BBG. As for group name, Ive heard it pronounced differently. But I hear Woni pronounce it more like Rescen in intros (at least thats how her Rescene 입니다 sounds) but ive also heard it pronounced Rescené or closer to hangul by MC so that could just be an accent/dialect thing. They have it spelled Rescéne in their logo so there is that as well. I honestly dont think either way is wrong in this case. Again, not trying to argue, youre obviously more experienced with the language... but stuff like this is why I set out to learn hangul so I appreciate your perspective nonetheless. I still have a ton to learn, and Ive definitely been slacking lately.
