YAAAAAS i agree rat in the trap is sooooo good. it was the vocal unit (different from the usual boyzamble with hyunjae and younghoon and haknyeon in the perf unit). the other perf unit was passion fruit unit (hyunjae, younghoon, juyeon, q and sunwoo) while sunwoo and eric being in rap/hiphop unit!

both rat in the trap and honey have this sexy vibe because they were released in phantasy pt2 album, which the overall vibe is sexy (watch it era). passion fruit unit also has this sexy concept but it's more of a funk, fun and fresh kinda sexy because it was released in phantasy pt1 (lipgloss era)

honey had a special promotion week along with passion fruit, while ritt unit held back because haknyeon was in hiatus because of injury

The members who didnt have a sub unit here were in the passion fruit subunit which also has a mv and was on the phantasy pt1 album (Q, younghoon, hyunjae, juyeon, sunwoo again). Also ohhhh you are missing out so much by never having listened to their reveal album especially when it comes to subunits. I feel like you'd love scar so much (sunwoo, eric, q, juyeon, haknyeon), there is also a vocal unit with sangyeon, chanhee, kevin, jacob and hyunjae 😍😍😍 and just the entire album is til this day one of their best even its been out for a long time

i loveee honey you should totally check out the live stages for it! they did promote this and also passionfruit from the lip gloss album (which has juyeon younghoon hyunjae sunwoo q).

omg also sunwoo and youngji did a collab stage at kcon germany! i don’t think the official kcon video is out yet but it was so good i recommend it as well :))

As much as I loooove all of "The Boyz" content, Rat in the Trap is this special type of most amazing off-shoot i've been so obsessed with, like, it ticks all the boxes of captivating, slightly naughty and sexy/noir concept. I would love more of this concept, more of this type of acting, and more of this combo!! (^_^)

Eric and Sunwoo could have indeed debuted with that song. Honestly, I feel like that could have worked as a US debut as well. Rat in the trap also is a very good song.
