So Hatchi is an 8 member unit that will rotate every year. At least by the way they explained the voting system for this unit, next year another round of voting will happen to see who the next Hatchi members are. People really wanted all 4 J-Line (Mayu, Kotone, Kaede, and Lynn) members to be in the debut line up for the unit but hey at least with the rotation we can get everyone potentially. The members were voted in with Mayu and ShiOn being MODHAUS picks. Mayu was also voted the leader. Very happy they know what we want and giving these 2 time to shine with their Vocals! This round is BASICALLY EVOLution just with ShiOn and Chaewon instead of Naky and Yeonji, So I wonder if the song came before or after the members were decided because even the song and MV itself feel like a companion to Invincible! I know Yooyeon is very popular and beloved but DAMN this girl needs a break 😭 There are fancams of recent performances where when she’s on the side, she looks so exhausted. I hope she is able to get a well deserved break! BUT again I love the D&B track but in the tripleS style! The way they’ve solidified their sound within 2 years is stellar

Most of VV members are LOVElution members and most of Hachi! members are EVOLution members! Same as VV, MODHAUS picks were Yubin and Lynn, here in Hachi! MODHAUS picks where Mayu and Shion. Shion is also a tripleS main vocal PD, same as Dahyun, but we know Jiwoo's vocals and Mayu is an amazing main vocalist as well, she showed it in GND performances when they were split in team A and team B, so I'd say our main vocal line are these 4 girls (Dahyun, Shion, Jiwoo, Mayu) but wow I can't exclude vocals from Chaewon or Chaeyeon too there are so many good vocalists in tripleS ... Hayeon too, Joobin... hidden vocalists whom we need more of their vocals to show I wonder how it would be in the future, this japanese unit will be performing for a year? or within the year we will see rotating members for this unit? I'm not sure

Syndra

Fun fact. Jiwoo and Chaeyeon are always together in every subunit they are in. They have never been split up. Krystal Eyes Assemble* EVOLution ARIA Assemble24* Hatch!. They are always together and WAVS wants to keep ot that way. Im so happy that Mayu Shion and Chaewon got to shine here their vocals are really suited for Jpop.

Also, if you check their single they have the ### Hachi! version

It’s so clear in this reaction how much PD loves tripleS

Quick heads up about Hatchi: 'Unitled' is tripleS official japan debut with their first japan subunit Hatchi! Unlike the other units, Hatchi will last for 1 year with various comebacks and promotions. After the one year, a new japan unit will be vote on. MODHAUS Picks: Mayu(Leader), Shion Voted in by us: Yooyeon, Kotone, Chaewon, Soomin, Jiwoo, Chaewon

The fact that this unit is basically : EVOLution without the traitor of badge war season 1 episode 2 ( nakyoung and Yeonji) it’s very funny ! Considering that they really give off an EVOLution vibe actually !

I'm giving a bold statement but for me Jiwoo is 2nd in place for the tripleS main vocalist..i like how versatile her voice is in this song
