So both Squid Game and Twinkling Watermelon are concluding this month for the EARLY ACCESS tiers. What shows should I check out next?

My current idea is to replace them with Lovely Runner and Mr Plankton so I'd like to hear your thoughts!

Comments

Dan

Goblin!

arianna_maria

Yessss Mr. Plankton is amazing!!!!!!!

Tania

Mr Plankton is so good!!! U definitely should go for that

WiseSmellyLegs

Have you seen Mr Sunshine? And if so… how much do you remember?

Sophie

Lovely Runner is a must!!! I haven’t seen Mr. Plankton but i’ve heard it’s amazing 💕

Audrey

Maybe an older Kdrama? Like Weightlifting Fairy Kimbokjoo or Fight my way?

Vish

Please consider Study Group , it has 10 episodes, will be ending next week. The drama is based on a webtoon and studio dragon drama. It's soooo good Unpopular opinion I didn't like lovely runner its too cringe for me, dropped it in the middle will give it a second chance if you react to it

Alex C

I think you'd would really "business proposals'" or "my revenge marriage".

Largestokie

Lovely Runner and Judge from Hell i think would be perfect or maybe Light Shop

Liv

I would suggest Gyeonseong Creature if you already haven’t checked it out already—Han Sohee and Park Seojoon and more, and you could split up the two seasons they have, I’d love your perspective on the writing

Liv

Mr Plankton has my vote! I was interested by the pilot and want to see how it progresses

myles pavitt

Lots of great options already said, I'd also like to suggest "when the phone rings"

Liv

My a few years older picks that are my faves would be -Bad & Crazy with Lee Dongwook and Wi Ha Jun -Again My Life with Lee Joon Gi or —Good Partner with Jang Nara is finished within this past year

Ashe

Study Group has been good so far! It's currently ongoing. The main actor is hwang Min-Hyun! 😁

Ashe

Or if you want to go back to the list of dramas you posted a while back The Eighth Sense is also really good!

Slayer0804

I would like to see you react to judge from hell. Main actress is Park Shin Hye. It highlights about evil people being punish with experiencing their sins and sent to hell

Dominic Nguyen

Im down for some Lovely Runner or Miss Night and Day (beyond hilarious)

Judy

Both of those dramas are amazing and I would definitely rewatch them with you!

Missbonesxo

Mr plankton and when the phone rings!

CJ

I'd like to suggest STUDY GROUP. It stars Hwang Minhyun. It's adapted from a webtoon. It's action packed but also funny. You might like it. 🤗 Or Jisoo's new one - Newtopia.

Cherls

Taxi driver! :)

Ruby

Ooooo I would love to watch lovely runner it’s amazing

Form of Therapy
>>164641352

I’ve seen like the first five episodes. I remember it was slow (in a good way), Lee Byung Hun and the actress from 2521 with a gun.

WiseSmellyLegs
>>164641352

The actress is Kim Taeri and well… I am not sure if people are interested in it, but that is my suggestion

Stephanie Ro

Definitely Mr. Plankton!! It's SO good and it's not as long as other dramas at 10 eps!

Edward Lee

Love Scout, Study Group, Mr. Plankton, The Trauma Code, Light Shop (just if you're planning on watching all of the Moving extended universe dramas as they come out)

Amity

Pyramid game is also a great one. It has 10 eps and stars Bona, Shin Seulki (you'll know her if you watched single's inferno), Jang Da-ah (A phenomenal rookie actress and Wonyoung's older sister), Ryu Da in, and other great new actresses.

Mary Stillwell

I love the choices you have picked!!! PLease do lovely runner!!!

Meruka Hinaru

YES LOVELY RUNNER, LET'S GO! 🥹🙌

Liv

It’s a wild ride!! Got me through that year, it was one stylish romp, liked the action sequences, the acting everyone brought, and N/Hakyeon from VIXX is in it!

Amanda Bernström

I would love for you to watch Bussines Proposal or Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo

DaximiousCMV

Way back in November 2023 you ran polls for the next two dramas. What ended up winning was Extraordinary Attorney Woo/Business Proposal (tied) and Strong Woman Do Bong Soon. You ended up not watching them but I'd still love to see you do so.

Rach

Bad & Crazy is a super fun one I think you’d enjoy! Shop for Killers is also super fun, both with Lee DongWook 🤩 However I also recommend Move To Heaven is a good one

airohpuenim

I was always hoping for a healing show like hospital playlist

Shia

i've been hearing good things about study group on my tl starring minhyun, personally haven't watched it yet but it will be nice if i can watch it with you!

Daniela Madrid

There so many new good ones!! I recommend the judge from hell, love scout, study group, taxi driver

Someday 🥹 I reacted to episode 1 a long time ago and was going to eventually have it be a surprise for everyone but it never panned out

Sarah Gugel

I would love to hear your commentary on Judge from Hell. I feel like you’d have some really interesting view points based on some of the social themes they bring up. Also an old one but still one of my favorites I constantly rewatch as far as detective/mystery dramas go is Life on Mars. Super well done with an all star cast.

Berrifan

Yes to both!

Mirva Lemponen

Ooh, good choices! Looking forward to them ❤️

I have memories of you mentioning this in the prison playbook reactions long ago🥺been waiting for it since and will still be waiting cause this series definitely deserves it😭

Amity

Did I already say Pyramid game?

Gigi

MR PLANKTON FOR SURE

Aurayaya

Sounds good to me

Brubru

Lovely runner is sooooo good!! The story, the actors and it’s so fun to watch

Julia

Pleaseee give Taxi Driver or Mouse a chance 😫😭🙏🏼 Taxi Driver is doing so good that they’re currently filming season 3 right now!! This show focuses on how a Taxi Driver who seeks revenge for his passengers. Such a great show and storyline. And the cast for this show has such good chemistry!! Mouse stars Lee Seung Gi and I’m telling you, this is one of his best work I’ve seen. It’s a crime & thriller series and this show lives in my head rent free. No other crime/mystery/thriller show has ever topped Mouse for me!!

Freya

Lovely Runner and Mr Plankton sound good to me. I'm still going to throw in my suggestion of Happiness if you by chance fancy something zombie related haha!

pr37

Reply 1988 but maybe you’ve already seen it. Crash Course in Romance is a fun one or Hospital Playlist.

Malaki.H

Taxi driver, mouse and beyond evil are some of the best dramas I've ever seen and highly recommend!

Mik

I would like to suggest “A shop for killers” as a drama for you to watch. The vibe is similar to your name, but with a different story. It’s written so well, and shot extremely beautifully. I’m trying not to spoil it, because there is a lot of mystery and it just sucks you right in. Lee Dongwook is one of the main characters. The series is on the shorter side, only being 10 episodes being around 50 minutes per episode(I believe the final episode is longer). Disney has also said, that they are discussing a season 2. Anyway just wanted you to know😆 (just a repost comment from an earlier post)

Wang Zixuan

Jisoo's new drama Newtopia looks interesting, Study Group is super highly rated now and I'm actually shocked by how good the action scenes were (probably the best I have seen in a kdrama). Also recommend When the Phone Rings as well.

Leonie

I recommend Mr Plankton and study group right now. Also the trauma code was really good

rawan

Mr plankton yess

Jacinta

Mouse for sure!!

chim

Light Shop!!! It's from the same writer as Moving!

Artemis Delphinia

Oh definitely Judge From Hell or maybe Atypical Family

Clare B

Light Shop for sure is my drama of the year, when the phone rings was great fun too

Clare B
>>164680937

Light shop is only 8 episodes too so it would be a nice quick one to get through

Barbara

Lovely runner and Trauma Code, both different genres and really good both

Lolo

I personally would love to see mr plankton and when the phone rings. Both amazing dramas <3

leah

Mouse plssss. I feel like its been awhile since you watched crime thriller series…

Sora Laurent

“When the phone rings” can be interesting

Lyla

lovely runner please!

Jade

lovely runner!

Emilie

family by choice & lovely runner!!

Leonie

I don't know if this is already forgotten but I would love to see your reaction to gyeongseong creature

Luxia Scarlet

Light Shop and Judge from Hell are the stars!

Hailey

When the phone rings, lovely runner, family by choice, or night has come (based on the mafia game) please!

Mac

Pyramid Game and Reborn Rich

CJ

STUDY GROUP - by Studio Dragon and theme song is by Matthew and Gunwook of Zerobaseone and stars Hwang Minhyun of Alchemy of Souls. All good things 🤗💜
