July Schedule (Patreon)

Hey gang it’s PD and I’m back with a schedule for July!

There was no schedule for June as I spent most of the month recuperating and then gradually getting back into filming.

For those of you first timers or returning Patrons, who weren’t here; at the end of May I contracted a very serious disease and was hospitalized for a week. It was serious enough that I needed to take two weeks to rest and it’s done some damage to my heart and lungs. It’ll take some time to heal, filming isn’t as easy as before but I spent June conditioning myself back into it so I’m raring to go!

So with the July schedule it’s going to be listening party, bonus drop and Kulture Study heavy as I both catch up on things as well as prepare for big comebacks like TWICE & NCT DREAM! LPs for these two will be SAME MONTH.

I’ll also be tackling this year’s Coachella performances from ENHYPEN, XG, JENNIE & LISA 😌 Ordinarily I’d reserve concert reactions for GROUPY tiers and up but the lengths of these aren’t so bad so they’ll be available for K-POP first tiers.

Changes Coming

Some long time coming changes will be coming soon. Specifically, I’m no longer putting ongoing series variety shows on the schedule and they will be posted semi frequently and they will be available for free. One off variety content will still be a regular part of our lineup and fall under the “bonus drop” category now.

I will also be removing the K-Pop/Drama/Anime Club FIRST tiers EVENTUALLY and the GROUPY tier will be our base tier, reverting back to how things were pre-2024.

There’s several reasons motivating this change and you can listen to this podcast episode I posted last month that gets in depth about it.

But long story short, I just don’t want variety stuff to feel like work anymore and it’s not something I can react to regularly anymore as I find myself gravitating towards more creatively and intellectually stimulating content. This will mean more of a focus on things like recording behinds, survival shows, listening parties, concerts, and YouTube interview shows (Jaejoong’s show, ZIP DAESUNG, SANA’s fridge, etc type).

Moving variety off the schedule also makes room for fun bonus stuff like this month’s K-POP DEMON HUNTERS! Hoping to do more stuff like this in the future.

Price changes are motivated by just having to maintain the upkeep and valuing my own time and how much I film. This may not be everyone’s favorite move but for folks on a limited budget I highly suggest just rejoining their pledge every other month. It’ll price wise be the same and you’ll have a month of backlog content to catch up on and then follow the current month’s releases!

I also did say eventually. I don’t plan on making this change until I bring in the survival shows and I can provide all the content I want to offer for the price point. I also plan to up drama club up to 3 shows a month!

Don’t worry ✋🏻Time wise I can manage it, but it’s also why I’m not pushing another survival show immediately this month. Initially that was the plan but I’m giving myself some breathing room after I-LAND 2 ends, as well as Coachella will keep me busy.

But price changes will occur when I am ready to bring BOYS II PLANET and LASTART onto the schedule! This is also when variety content will be back and posting for free!
