OHHHHHH heck yes! I needed one more album to really "buy" into this band and I'm absolutely in LOVE with this album, much more than the first one!

Thank you very much for enjoying and reacting to QWER so far! After this album is their latest "In a million noises, I'll be your harmony" and you will have caught up to all their releases!

The voice you pointed out on run! run! run! was Chodan the drummer. The song is a duet with the bassist Magenta

Edward Lee

Fun little tidbit.....G-IDLE Soyeon wrote/produced and also directed the MV for 'My Name is Malgeum' as well as guided them during the recording

I just got into them when the members of OfflineTv made a KPop song. They had went to Korea and got help from QWER. I also saw them on that show Let's Eat and they are really funny. I'm a big fan of this group now.

Ughh I love that song so much.. Soyeon isn't just in the credits, she is THE credits lol. My Name is Malgeum is written and composed by Jeon Soyeon. She also directed the MV.

As for the confusion with Rebound... I always took as a 'Rebound from tge sadness' which is why it came after Goodbye my Sadness. But also looking at the lyrics again I think its about the coming to terms with yourself abd the sadness and have rebounded to spread healing vibes and positivity out into the world. Just my take.

That's my favorite album from them ❤️

run! run! run is definitely my favorite from this album, the composer, lyricist, arranger and writer, Sumin, is one of my favorite artists ❤️

For me, Chodan's voice has a more closed jazzy tone (for reference, she fully sings "Manito" in the previous album), while Magenta's voice is brighter and more open pop vibe. My favorite songs from this album 1. Run Run Run 2. My Name is Malguem 3. Goodbye My Sadness 4. Fake Idol 5. Let’s Love 6. Rebound This is dance practice for run run run if you interested: https://youtu.be/UroZJx5S0VY?si=gWiiyjv92cuYJ0j5

Algorithm's Blossom Documentary next? JK I was glad that you really liked this album and It is still by far my favorite from them! As you said, QWER really filled up a hole within me that I didn't even know existed. From their origin story, to their members, to their staff, to their music EVERYTHING feels genuine to me. A feeling that you rarely or never even feel when consuming KPOP. It's something that you'll come to understand the day you fully get into them beyond their music.

Knowing how you like a good story driven MV I'm excited for you to check out their 3rd mini album title track. It also has tie ins to their irl back stories, with a focus on Siyeon, the main vocal. And of course the b-sides are amazing too. Their performance of Overdrive at 2025 Pentaport was freaking epic. They're coming to the US in Nov and I'm so excited to see them live!
