lool same with ILAND , Zico was my main reason to watch it, but stayed for the amazing trainees and great concept. I havent watched UL, so I am planing to watch it now and re-watch it again with u in november, i saw a few faces that I recognized like that one trainee from Boys Planet 1 , and aussie boy Steve too.

Whoever invited these directors I love you so much, such a good and exciting line up. As a long time ahgase seeing our got7 maknae directing a group was such a proud moment, he came so far uhuu:') He did so well in the show, he was so sweet and friendly with all the participants. Yugyeom and El Capitxn were both so funny and cute together, I loved their chemistry the most. But I always felt so bad for them, you will find out why in the show:') ARE U READY?!

ayeee that's exactly how I found out about UL and then I saw my boy Woongki there too. I had no choice but to watch this show just because of those two. And yes it is confirmed that Yugyeom really is Lee Dongwook's son lmao. We're still manifesting their meeting one day:D

One thing I will applaud UL for is the signal song filming, like we’re under no impression when they give contestants mics on these other shows for signal songs that there is any live vocals so it feels pointless to do so (why add that prep on production when absolutely no one hears their live vocals anyways??), I also like how you actually get to see a lot more of them and this pre record feels more artistic—it’s showing what we actually would be judging based on a fancam of any signal song— dance, expression, and star quality

Another good thing about UL is they don't spend 2 episodes practicing the signal song either its just a fun bonus to get people to watch the show. They also fid a BTS video of showing them recording the song if you are interested later down the line

After episode 1… all I wanted to do was to keep watching El Capitxn and how pretty he is… any shot with him in it. Deserves a lil pause and appreciation… all season. I was just crushing over that man.

I’d say the signal song is more about showing each team’s colors and less about which individuals stood out the most while they were doing it. That’s why the filming only highlighted a few of them in each team and wider team shots instead of focused individual shots. Pretty much reflecting the spirit of the show and I found myself having to adopt a new mindset when it comes to this show because there is so much more emphasis on team dynamics but of course individual talents still shine through
