I only watched the documentary and remember being surprised by how the top ten turned out because I wasn’t following fan votes or missions. IMO, Yoonchae was a total dark horse to a documentary viewer but she really shines in the group.

PD, I think you would not have survived the Produce iterations of the MNET survival shows. The fact that criminal things were happening was out of the world. They only started getting favor back after ILAND and then the trainee talent in GP and BP built back their reputation. And now recently it was revealed that in P101, the trainees had to endure over 24 continuous hours of filming.

Literally what a compliment to say that she wants a daughter now. And it didn't just seem like she was just saying it to say it but genuinely loved the experience. She was all like a quasi-mother to all of them T_T

Hopefully they do a documentary for Santos Bravos too because I refuse to keep watching youtube lives, come on Hybe there's gotta be a better way than doing a whole survival show through random youtube videos!!

im with you PD watching they all perform together in the finale made me think they could just have debuted all 10 together T.T it really seem at that point that everyone had improved themselves and none of them were lacking they felt very well balanced, its a shame and its also a shame Ezrela not being in the final piece, i really felt in love with her in these past episodes man

about the group size thing - i don't think a bigger group is as digestible for the western audience and hybe ultimately wants them to do well in the american market. in terms of pop groups i can only think of s club (7 members, though i don't think they did as well in the us lol) especially as the western market is saturated with solo acts and only just warming back up to groups i think a smaller number was a good choice now hybe do the right thing and bring back ezrela!! if she's fr not part of the new project i hope it's of her own accord and that she was at least invited to be part of it

This is my very first time seeing someone outside of the subreddit/any closed community dedicated to that talking about Santos Bravos!! In a way I hope too, but at the same time I am aware too much of how Santos Bravos is treated… Dream Academy/Katseye was THE PROJECT for HYBE (and I mean any kind of HYBE, like HQ (Korean) or America/any). The budget, production, people involved, the years of investment, everything was there. Santos Bravos is just a project under newly launched HYBE Latin America, where they are testing things out and it is all pretty much like: “Let’s find out…” and so I worry they do not plan to have any documentary or anything. The positive thing about Santos Bravos is it is a living proof that survival show makes contestants improve faster and so the group becomes stronger. I mean… there are contestants like Drew, who danced on a pro level and was BTS back dancer and there are other contestants, who had been involved in music/singing already. But most of them are just boys with a potential to grow and they either grow fast thanks to the survival show factor or they get eliminated.
