Yeah lee know sprained his left ankle at the mama awards, there is a more recent award show were he is sitting down, and I believe seungmin is also facing an injury, these boys are working so hard I’m so proud of them tho.

i don't think you have seen Hanbins dance collab with Lee youngji they did on kcon la. If you are interested you should def check it out, both dance practice and ofc the actual stage performance

Thank you PD for voicing the same thought I had after watching TXT's stage. Only two songs is crazy. Their stage being the same length as some of the rookie groups is criminal. That being said they were probably too busy to prepare more with everything they've been doing. Also apparently some of it was cut out of respect for the fires.

gunwook’s jacket wasn’t supposed to be open during the first part of iconik, he just missed the timing to close it when the lights dimmed lol. the big rose tattoo was a sticker and the smaller one on his side is real :)) someone already mentioned the saja boys performance being cancelled, but god if it was cleared to perform it literally would’ve been the gunwook grand slam.

Do agree MAMA this year felt lacking but the huge fire in HK really brought the energy down and alot of stages had to be altered/cut. At least next year, BTS will be back which will be hype

absolutely yes to the soobin comment! OT5 over everything of course but man, soobin especially is so crucial to the overall balance, harmony and fullness of the group

the producers of KDH were both there to to receive their awards, Ahn Hyoseop & Arden Cho were also there to present awards, so there definitely was some cast represantation, but the OG singers already had a schedule at the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade in the US. Rora, Ahyeon & Pharita acually met with Maggie Kang & Chris Appelhans (the creators) backstage and took photos with them in costume. Maggie Kang's daughter Rumi was also there, it was really cute seeing them with the Baemon members.

Except for Stray Kidz, Super Junior & G-Dragon no one got to perform more than two songs though. Not aespa, not Ive, not Enhypen etc. Big groups like i-dle even got only one song to perform, so I get the frustration but this isn't exclusively a TXT thing

I'm sorry to say, because Untitled is one of my all time favourites & GD is probably the greatest artist in kpop history, but this was a shocking performance for his standards. I dont know what it was, the mic issues or the sudden change of his set list bc he wanted set a different tone for the people of Hongkong (which i applaud him for), but it did seem very off. Like he sang maybe 20% of his performance and the rest was just backtrack & at the end his voice just died, it's probably unfair but I did expect a bit more. Usually I would agree with what you said about him at the end PD, but I think in this particular stage he actually kinda failed to pull it off even with his aura.

Everyone was blaming Tarzzan for CORTIS almost slipping on stage because people said he dropped his scarf, which happened indeed, but, I was thinking like "How did IDID and Kickflip not get that then?" I watched closely and the one during the CORTIS performance wasn't even Tarzzan's scarf. If you watch the stage, you can see Juhoon starting off with it in his pants, when he gets to sing it is on the floor. So it fell out of their own pockets.

Normally I like people making something their own, but I feel like Golden is so iconic at this point that Ahyeon doing the extra high note at the end is the same thing as Hui did on Boys Planet, like it sounds good, but the original has more power (I'm talking about the EXO - Love Me Right cover, the 네가 part)

So I'm confused, when did MAMA happen because the parade was 2 weeks ago, did this also happen during that time?

I'm not American so I honestly don't know but according to google the parade was on the 27th of November in the US & MAMA was on the 28th in Hongkong, so it was too close I guess with time difference etc

PD, you need to get into J-POP more 😂😂, you have been hooked on &TEAM and NEXZ, and every show you talk about checking out NIZIU, INI, JO1 ..... Like you might be a bit out of K-POP these days and your brain is telling you to expand to J-POP, T-POP, P-POP, C-POP

dude it was a stacked line up too. gunwook, yujin, wonbin, leehan, and shinyu. the status of their stage was really up in the air until a couple hours before the show started and koz and pledis released statements explaining they’re no longer participating in chapter 2 of mama.

I think they are concentrating on the American stages right now as it is now heading into awards season here for movies. Nominations for several major awards are coming out now, and the Oscars are currently in the For Your Consideration time.

Just so you know Minnie actually heard fractured her foot something like that during mama, Lee know hurt in ankle by sprained it & seungmin hurt their foot . Winter hurt her finger with guitar in being of the show .

People were hating on Cortis for Fashion because "all they were doing was running around screaming. Anyone could that, it doesn't take talent". When was the last time you saw 4 month old rookies genuinely enjoy their job, the stage, interactions with fans, and have fun? It's so refreshing to see. I hope they keep loving their lives and job for many years
