i didn't get formula when ald1 first performed it at mama but after a few listens and watching THE performance video and now this stage... i love that song!! it would be such a great concert opener! not gonna spoil anything but they spoiled the track instrumentals recently for their debut ep and i'm so excited for the album to drop now ahhh

Yeah NCT WISH's performance was prerecorded since it was a collaboration between Kakao Entertainment-Sony 360 Reality Audio but they did attend the show and perform live, it just wasn't broadcasted,,, also poor Ryo was out sick :( I wasn't the biggest fan of videohood when the album came out but seeing them perform it live at their concerts and award shows really changed my mind

They had a 2 day concert before MMA and just came back to Korea to attend it. Basically, they returned to Korea after their concert ended and then went back to Japan after MMA show for another 3 day concert again..

THANK YOU for your comment on jay park!!! I’ve been seeing so much hate on lngshot and jay park lately and it’s nice to see their talent being recognized! Like you said, seeing this performance in the middle of mainstream kpop felt black and white. All of a sudden I felt like I was watching something real/raw and not curated. The fact he was able to bring h1gher music back for this performance even after everyone’s moved on and are with other agencies it does to show how well he treats and supports his artists/colleagues like they’re still a family. I think jay park breaks all rules when it comes to kpop and I’m so here for it. You should def check out lngshots stuff I quickly fell in love with them and Jay park definitely calls out the toxic idol culture from the rip lol

Yea off your comments on the Jay Park stage, him making a group is like a definite "next step" in his industry career & I'm really exited to see the direction he has in mind for them. I have been replaying ald1 performance over and over…they are so good and have not even debuted yet For Nct wish is kinda a shame it was prerecorded because they still perform onsite so would have been better to have a full production on stage…like getting videohood on a big venue…

If Jay Park plays his cards right, More Vision might be modernized OG YG and although I have still high hopes for VVOOF, LNGSHOT and Jay Park’s vision for them makes me start to worry it will be hard to compete with something like this!

55:50 - “Jay Park was born for this” I think Jay Park had to leave JYP to become this big and even if he managed to get big while being still in 2PM, he would have made such a big impact on the Korean Hip Hop scene. But that is the reason I think he should have transfered to YG, so YG could have had him as “his Rain”, instead of SeungRi, who was the only BIGBANG member interested in the business part along with his solo career + YG vibes and YG’s attitude towards giving BIGBANG members solos would have provided Jay Park to be equally influential as he is now. While being in BIGBANG instead of SeungRi and so BIGBANG would have been the crazy group ever. Something like BTS has JungKook, which brings them the “American soloist member” to the dynamics of the group, but in this case Jay Park would have actually been the American soloist of the group + American hip hop focused soloist.

I pretty much agree with your take/comparison of Jay Park/the potential vision for LNGSHOT with AllDay Project. The thing is… I do not think AllDay Project is the final step of The Black Label’s imagine. MEOVV debuted 2024, but their “main run” started in 2025 and so I view 2015-early 2025 of The Black Label as that weird void of time, where there has been solo acts here and there and nothing was happening per se (except for literally a few Somi releases), because it used be Teddy’s “side project”, but he was still mainly known for his BLACKPINK work. And now we have just gotten to the point of The Black Label showing their real face but with steps. First step = MEOVV: Teddy’s another iconic girl group project, but treated with more frequent comebacks than before Second step = AllDay Project: Teddy’s biggest mic drop by doing something so unexpected and bringing something so dead back to life and also making the group so… weirdly complementing each other by having such a strong members but at the same time members, who do not give you the Kpop elite vibe you would expect And while obviously this forms some kind of image of The Black Label, the third and final piece of their boy group and Teddy’s first boy group, he managed as a producer and not its member, is the what is yet to come and it might be something different from what we would expect

i’m always so amazed Jay can pack so much hits and features in a 10 minute set. Also he always brings out something new on stage thats why I will always be excited to watch his performance.
